You are correct. I have removed these lines. Although it didn't make any difference. But I did figure it out for myself.
I am using a vision system to get an offset. X,Y was being written to the Position while R was being written to the Tool Offset.
If I tried to shift, the motion would be in line with the frame.
I moved the R value to the Position, and then tried my Tool Offset (X=100) and it worked.
I think that the tool offset isn't necessarily rotating about the TCP but uses the R value in the position to determine the tooling orientation for moves.
