this is new feed back.
I found one old floppy drive with rs232 port and connected it to controller.
I could take a backup from controller with flappy.
I'm sure I have been connected to controller with come1.
Cause when I turned off the controller and then turned it on
I had some info in KCwin program, but I can not write anything inside KCwin or KRterm.
This is strange problem and I want to solve it.
I'm sure serial IC is correct cause if it has been broken
I could not see any info when i turn controller on.
and also i can connect to floppy drive with that port.
There is 2 serial board on CPU card.
I only can connect to one of them.
Only female rs232 port can connect to Flappy disk and KCwin.
the male one is only for serial communication between robot and another devices.

I set com1 in KRterm and PC device manager with same baud rate and ....
If I change com port to wrong port in KRterm (for ex Com3)
When i click in connection button, i have a error message.
When i connect with correct port ( com1 ) i don't have any error.
And its ok ( connection button will be OFF and disconnection button will be ON)
I found 1 floppy disk for this Controller.
It has KC-monitor and KCwin.
But those are so old version and need win 95.
But I can execute it with compatibility option in windows 7.
I will check it and inform you.

I will check IC.
I'm sure my cable and KRterm and PC and USB to RS232 are OK.
Also i will check with another version of KRterm
I looked inside of PC card slut.
Unfortunatly the did not leave one PC card for me.

this is a feedback.
I wrote TERMON in keyboard.
First time it has not been active.
I enabled it from hidden menu.
I wrote TERMON and controller accept it.
After power cycle,i tried to connect but i had the same problem.
It connected but i could not to write anything.
I have two C40F controller and i have same problem with those.
But i can connect to a C70F so easy.
Also i used a PC with direct RS232 port with out Usb to RS232 adaptor
It was the same.
I want to use from a memory card for save and load (PC card).
(There is a memory slot upon the teach pendant)
Is it a special memory for Kawasaki C controller or its a general memory.
For example it also use in camera or another devices.
There is SRAM PCMCIA flash card in market.
Is it suitable.
At the end if i can solve my communication problem its very better for me.

i use from USB to Serial convertor.
but with this USB to Serial convertor and this version of KRterm
i can connect to a C70F controller.
i checked every things.
i work on robot from 5 years ago.
but i worked on ABB and Fanuk.
i thought maybe there is a function for enable/disable of upload.
i try to connect with 1GA board and port on the door
both of them connected but i can not write anything.
i told before i can connect to another controller with the same condition ( cable, version of krterm, ...)

I have a strange problem
I have a c40f controller.
Also i have one 2-3 , 3-2 , 5-5 RS232 cable.
I can connect to c40f controller but i can not write anything in KRterm.
It connect but i can not write anything.
I checked my windows version and cable and those are OK.
With this cable and this laptop i can connect to another C controller and i can
Write save or load or ....
I changed my cable to (2-3 , 3-2 , 5-5 , 7-8, 8-7 , 1,6-4 , 4-1,6 )
But i will access to the controller 2 days later.
This new cable will solve my problem or you have another idea.
Did anybody have this type of problem.

in the setting there is a micro definition.
its so easy, there is some empty button on the TP.
you can select on of them for open grip and another one for close.
you have to have a program (subroutine) for grip open and grip close.
then you can define it, if i push this button (one of that empty button) go and execute this subroutine.
I solve my problem.
I re-allocate 512 signals in robot and some signal in another station.
I want to share some info with you.
Must important issue is Robot ARM ID BOARD.
In my controller It was started from 1001 and 12 signal, i change it to 1051.
And re- allocate signal.
I found that its not important you put 1TW board before or after fieldbus board.
After re-allocation its necessary to restart robot controller and connected device.(its very important)

OK. assume i did not have 1TW board and i only had one fieldbus board.
Now, i bought a 1TW board and i want to use it.
Can you tell me step by step what i have to do.
I want to be sure about every things will be OK.
I want after connection, i can see 1TW boerd signals in input monitoring.
I found the number of 1001 to 1012 is for robot Arm board.
I can change it to another number.

I dont have two 1TW board
I have one !TW board and One 1JT (i think) board.
How can i solve my problem?
In AUX 0611 i have 544 input. (i think 32 for 1TW and 512 for profibus)
If i re-allocated signal, i'm afraid about another machine that connected to robot.
I have one 1TW and one 1JT(profibus board).
Robot programs used from 1JT board but 1TW board never used before.
I want to use it now.
In CN4 i connected 0V to pin18 and +24v from external machine to pin1,2,3,...
I don't have input splitter and input module.
Can i connect input to 1TW board (CN4 ) directly or i have to prepare one input module (Opto-Isolating).
I'm sure its only for safety.

I'm working on E controller.
It has one 1TW board and one Board For Profibus.
I try to connect another I/O to 1TW board but it does not work.
My board is PNP, and i connected every things correctly.
I know when i use from serial board , number of inputs are 1-32.
But now there is not any input on 1TW board but i have input in number 4,6,2,...
I think they are coming from profibus.
I want to know how can i use from parallel I/O (on 1TW board) whereas controller has some I/O from profibus.
I connected 0V to pin 18 and +24 from external sensor.
but when i check it in input monitoring i don't have any input.
please help me as soon as possible.

for example: my programs name was ABC.AS.
when i was trying to load it, i could not.
then i changed the name to abc.as and after that i could load it to my robot.
yes its running now.
my OS was win8
and i was using from KRterm.
