Thank you eusty,
I already can read the inputs on addr "0", i doubt that it is about the addresses. Well i would change it and test but tbh i dont know how to change the addresses on the BK I/O terminal.Btw can it be because of a fault with my script:
I've inserted with Commands -> Logic -> OUT
The line is:
OUT 1 'motor' State = TRUE CONT -
DSE IO Drive different for then DeviceNet;DSEIO=14,dseIoInit,dseiodrv.o
Please change to comma this line in "iosys.ini"
Thanks for the advise. I have commented that line and restarted the controller. Strange, i still get the same error.
It is still:
1034 Error on writing, driver : DSE_IO_DRV -
Hello,
I have establised connection between the MFC card (with a single devicenet port of X801) and a Beckhoff terminal BK5250. The terminal is mounted with 1 IN and 1 OUT card of 1 Byte digital pins on each module. The terminal rack is ended with the standard Beckhoff bus terminator. On the X801 port I have insterted a resistor of 120 Ohms parallel to the 2nd and 4th pins of the terminal.
I can monitor the Inputs without a problem, the connection LED on the Beckhoff terminal is green, Yet I am having problems on manipulating the outputs. I guess I was able to Set the OUT 1 only for once (with a program line), and now i cant change it - whenever the system is rebooted its off but it gets on as the comm with the KSS establishes (after it launches on WIN95). I can't change its vale to FALSE and I can't Set any other outputs now.
I get the error:
1034 Error on writing, driver DSE_IO_DRV
BTW I see the red dot on monitor IO menu for the OUT1 (i think i can read the card (or maybe I cant, if it is the list of the image to be written on the card, not the outputs being read)).My config:
[DEVNET]
INB0=11,0,x1 ;ADDITION
OUTB0=11,0,x1 ;ADDITION
// I don't think more info on other INI files are needed (like MacID, Baud...) since I was able to write on the card once and the commnication seems to be OK.Some info on what i have done so far:
- I have tried swapping the IN and OUT card to change their order, still the IN card is working fine but I am having problems on writing on the output card.
- (!) I couldn't find a seperate power line atm and supplied DeviceNet line and the terminal with the same source of 24V
- I have checked for the possible open and short circuitry.
- (!) I have just noticed that the customer has not grounded the controller or maniplator chassis
- I have grounded the Devicenet cable shield from the X801 end with the chassis. But i doubt that it is electrical because the already set output of OUT1 is off then the robot is rebooted and it gets on whenever the KSS launches (after 2 mins). So I suppose there is connection with the card, maybe I just can't write on it for some reason.. or maybe the communication just unstable (but then why the led on the I/O terminal is OK).
Any ideas on my problem?
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
I have been commisioning a second hand ABB system for a welding process. I used to work with Fanuc products so I am not very aware of ABB systems.
The system I am using:
Controller: S4C Plus M2000
Manipulator: IRB2400
Pendant: Well can't see a code but it is definetly not one of those new flexis with all those fancy colorfull icons (which I had the experience on)I've done some good progress by using the; Product Manual 3HAC 7626-1 / M2000
But I think it lacks the information about programming and the interface of the pendant. I can't get information well on tasks like:
- Taking backup and the detailed properties of the memory structure.
- I/O HW initialization and I/O point configuration
- Detailed info on the programming (like making routines or interrupts (if they exist).
- Advanced settings done from the pendant
- Things to be done after a NEW SYSTEM BUILD (other than just calibration). What I need is:
I supose there should be some other manuals on programming with my current setup. Like some manual morely focused on software aspects.
I would be very glad if anyone knows about any documents like that. (and provide an URL if it is legal)Thanks in advance
I suppose there should also be a manual about stuff on programming and the pendant interface.
