This is a option for fanuc.....Motoman is included. So there is a possiblity that you might not have it. Also there is IC (interference check) and IIC (Inteligent Interfence check) and it is under Menu-> Setup -> Interference. This is alittle more involved but can be use the same way.

Well for starters i found that the brand new robot was sent with a bad board. But the set up is very different then EIP.
You must go to the profinet menu and you will see Max digital Port number: (mine was 2048)
Start Mode: default to suspend
I/O controller: default to enabled
I/O device : default to enabled
For my set up i needed to use the CP1604 card as a device to communicate to the PLC, so i change the I/O controller to disable (it will propt you to cycle power but dont need to yet) then at the bottom of that screen you'll see [other] select that and go to I/O device. Once your in that screen go to modules, details and then detail again and in this menu is the config of the I/0. You will Need a GSD file with the setting for your application. After you findout what you need you will have to set up the first three modules 1 is for CP1604 card 2 is Outputs (size) 3 Input (size). Then you'll need to cycle power and this point you need to load in the configuration/firmware version onto the CP1604 card. then set the Start mode from "suspend" to "Read in" then to operate and cycle power again. Now all that is left is to configure your digital I/O and UOPS then test to confirm all is ok.Sorry if this is hard to understand i tried to compact it
any question just ask. -
I'm trying to set up a profinet I/O communication and ProfiSafe I/O communication on R30iB with V8.10 software. The configuration on the CP1616/CP1604 card is done on the Step7 software.
I have set up the robot end correctly so says Fanuc Support. I i think that the Siemens side is correct also but i still get a PRIO_602 PNIO (100)(2).
Any thoughts on this
