You can use output signals with "if" function using "DOutput" command. not necessary to using cross connection between output and input.
Example :
IF DOutput(OUTPUT1)=1 CHECK;
This is what I was looking for.
Thanks!

Right now this is what i programmed
Sys.cfg:
-Routine "DOOROPEN" -Shelf "START"
User.sys:
PROC DOOROPEN()
Set OUTPUT1;
RETURN;
ENDPROC
Main program:
IF OUTPUT1=TRUE THEN
CHECK;
ENDIF
But an output is not working with the IF function, so i connect the output to an input.
Is there no easier solution for this?
Yes this is what i mean.
Hello,
I programmed a stacking robot, and now i have the next challenge:
I want the robot to know each time i opened the door.
Before you can open the door an output needs to be set.
Right know i programmed something that is only working when the robot is in auto mode and running the program.
But i want to trigger an output with the output for the door. So everytime i start the robot i can check if the door has been open or not.
I'm sorry for the late response, but i was at the robot last week and it was an easy job.
Because what they didn't told me on the phone was that they turned of the power for a very long time.
And the battery's needs to be replaced, so the robot lost everything.
They tried to reset the robot but wasn't working.
And i don't know what exactly happened, but i did a cold restart en reinstalled the robot and everything was working fine again.
Thanks for your support.
They don't have to calibrate the robot every day, but they shut it down and start it up every day.
Only one time they had to calibrate the robot, and after that the safety zone is lost.
But before there was no problem. And I asked them to make a backup from the robot, but I can't find anything that is different from before.

This robot is turned off almost daily so the warmstart happend more then once. So I think this is not the problem.
Fabian Munoz;
Do you know how to reconfigure or acknowledge this?
Yes it is.
Perfect. Thank you.
Do you have a pdf with this manual?
Hello,
Can anyone help me with a step by step description for a system backing of an ABB irb6400 S4 controller?
Hello,
A while ago I created a safety zone for an ABB robot irb6400 with help from this forum.
For 2 years this is running without problems.
But last week the customer called and told me that they had to recalibrate the robot so they did.
But after recalibration the safety zone isn't working anymore.
Does anybody know how this is possible?
Thanks
