Mbalazs, You can't have AUTO (or EXT) and E2 at the same time.
So, while in AUTO, you should unplug/cut E2/E7 jumpers.

Mbalazs, unfortunatelly, I don't have these CAD files.
But in the software side, I think I can help a bit.
But I need to know why You want to convert this robot to a regular KRC1.
And what is the KUKA software version that came with the robot?

Hello, mbalazs
I think You want to convert this robot to KRC1 to use some kind of software tool that is specific to KRCs, right?
Because, if not, you can try to write your own milling routines with VW_User, I think.

I've worked with WoV inside Win10 (and WinXP) with no problems.
But, as panic mode pointed, best procedure is run the software with recommended OS.
I try to maintain some virtual machines around, to handle different WoV needs.

Panic mode is right.
If You disconnect uncheck the "Always available" optio for a ProfiNet device, it will be "Always disconnected", until You connect it again with IOCTL command.
Hint: if You power down the controller, the device will come disconnected. So is a good pratice write a routine to couple the not-always-enabled devices at power on.
it needs to be coupled again with IOCTL command.

Hi All!
I want to perform some tests here, and to do this, I need some Volkswagen ABB robot backups. I'm referring to newest ABBs (VASS), not the old ones.
If someone can share a backup like this with me, please call me inbox.
Thanks!

These new points are inside the same path?
Or are on a new area?
Maybe you will need change some parameters at SCA controller.

BrianR, do you will try to download something to the robot controller remotely?
I made tests in the past (with WoV 2.2.2 #150 and VSS 8.2.17), and while I can upload the project from the controller via a wi-fi connection, for example, the other way isn't true.
To download a project to controller, I need to be connected physically on the same subnet.
I'm not sure about newer WoV and KSS/VSS.
The options You should have to upload Ascii programs on robot controller are:
Ascii Program Loader R796
Ascii Upload R507

Juho, RoboGuide has a 30 days trial.
You can contact FANUC, or search internet for the installer.

Larspuimers, the lowest FRVRC (virtual robot controller) on RoboGuide is 5.30/RJ3, so You can try with this version and see what happens.
If You want, I can try compile it to you, with 5.30.

In my case, I normally start from KUKA project that comes bundled with robot.
But WorkVisual has a merge function, that permit You select what files You want to overwrite on the controller, and what files You want to keep there.
From my experience, You must leave machine data and config files as supplied, if possible.
Hello, Krulik.
I'm not sure if I get yout question properly, but my first answer would be: yes, you can.
I heard about people upgrading old krc2 (that came with win95) to WinXP (like krc2 ed05).
But I don't have details.
Like Hermann, I also think krc1 hardware isn't compatible with XP.

At that time, I want to store some cycle time measurements values, in sequence, outside the timer variables, that are overwritten every cycle.
That job is finished, but now I'm curious. Can you send me your makro, mightyduck?
Hehe... great!
