Hey, robots_at_apex.
Thanks for the tip. I will try it now.

Hello;Could you share your backup in forum? I can analyze backup and say what is the problems.
Hey, fluke!
So, they discovered that the problem was at PLC.
PROMIA version on the robot was newer than the version on PLC.
They updated the PLC blocks and now they are running.
Thanks!

Hi all,
A colleague is in trouble with a new robot with Renault PROMIA standard.
Is a handling robot, with RobotWare 5.61 and PROMIA 50.61.
Everytime he try to move the robot to repli position, it is stopped with the fault in the screenshot.
The robot backup is already sent to ABB and they told everything is ok.
We are thinking this could be related with the PLC, but they need to confirm the robot side.
Anyone has a backup from a running syatem with a similar setup that can be shared?

Hi, guys!
Has anyone ever come across this flaw in a FANUC R-30iB controller?
INTP-536 PS error (0x20001)
A colleague had a problem that caused a collision last Saturday, and analyzing the logs I saw that flaw up there.
But the description in the FANUC fault manual isn't clear.
Just curious.

Not sure, SharplesR, but it might be that.
I've seen that screenshot (and this other one) inside a document from ABB France.
The name of the spreadsheet is ABBload_IRB7600_6600_FR_rev1.2.xls
Hi, all!
I was digging some old files this week, and found a document that was mentioning ABBLoad_(something).xls, that was an old tool from ABB to validate robot payloads.
I only know the RobotLoad program. Not the spreadsheet.
Someone know/have this spreadsheet?
Just scientific curiosity.
P.S.:
I also know GM NA used a spreadsheet called RoboLoad (without the "T"), but the doc wasn't mentioning this tool.
T Brewton, I don't have to much experience with OTC robots, only did a modification in a running cell one time, but your assumptions are correct.
Programming is made through a teach pendant and so on.
The interesting part is the OTC software/controller is the same of NACHI robots.
I will check this later. Thanks!

Hi, rafahil.
Do You now how to open them?

Hi, Nation.
I was thinking the same. Maybe it only work on real robots. The only mention to .pdfs was the pdf filter in File menu.
In some situations, open a .pdf file directly on TP would be faster/better option than carry/open a laptop or even a tablet.
And smartphone screens are too little for my taste.
I always had a curiosity about PDF Viewer (J838) option.
Never saw it, but I think the idea is pretty interesting, and I'm thinking to recommend it to a client.
So, today I created a very basic OLPCPro cell in RoboGuide with this option installed.
But I couldn't find any menu entry or botom to display the pdfs I've put inside the virtual robot.
Any hints?
The problem editing VKRC programs like a regular KUKA (KRL code) is, if You change the programs and close them, HMI will recompile it and wipe every instruction it didn't recognize.
Although I can't help you, this is a pretty interesting endeavour, SMA.
I know R-J2 (v4.x) has these builtins, but don't know about older versions.
FB ONL and FB PSPS are different instructions.
In FB PSPS, robot must reach the point where it was programmed to read it (the exact moment could vary, depending on the trigger value set on motion instruction).
In FB ONL, robot read it before reach the point.
Normally, FB ONL isn't allowed in the programming. VW prefer FB PSPS.
And, as ownagebyh4x already said, avoid change makrosps, or any program/library bundled with VW standard, unless you have their written authorization.
Hi, ruy_costan
If you want only rename the WoV project, you can do it directly on SmartPad.
- Copy the active project ("save actual state" or something like that)
- Rename the copy to what you want
- Activate it
- Delete the original project
TL;DR: if you can afford one, buy it.
I don't know how You user your robot, but "time is money" quote is very real in industrial environments, and I think a SEMD would be cheaper than a production line stopped, waiting for a KUKA or an integrator technician.
You can perform mastering with a dial gauge, for example, but isn't that precise.
KUKA also recommends perform a "master check" in case of collisions or motor exchanging, for example.
Yes, that makes more sense.
It's not PC-based allright. Writing something virus-like would not be too difficult though.
But I guess the idea is that an R-30iA cannot pick up a Windows-based virus.
In fact, the virus-free quote is there.
I think they didn't mentioned Windows to avoid a lawsuit.
But I think this specific line was a provocation to KUKA.

When Function List was a plugin, it worked perfect. But now it is a native feature of Notepad++, I also can't get ir running as I expect.
In my case, I using SourceCookifier, another N++ plugin. It's regex dialect is a little bit strange, but it has more features than Function List.
I doubt viruses are the biggest problem for a Fanuc controller, seeing as fragile as they are.
I've found the brochure. In fact, they didn't mention Windows. The only say R-30iA isn't "PC-Based.
