I think the ext dispaly problem is one of weakest links on the krc4 as if you get any prolems booting you have no dispaly AAARRRRGGGGGG And no idea what is going on unless you have a monitor to hand and possable a video card depending on the version of KRc4 you have bigger ARRRGGG lol

EMT £3k no hassel works and is fast
making your own = possable problems and if you pop an RDW then is £1.5K ?
is it worth the hassel ?
also you pick up second hand EMTs from fleabay USA or Germany quite cheap

The robot is designed and bulit by Kuka so its all good ( they did steal the design of the robot from an old denso though lol)
They are good and very fast

I would try swapping the ESC board from one robot to another as it could this board this is a quick check for you i think

The flange mounting adaptor at axis 6 to mount the tourch is plastic or aluminium as we had some that had an alumium ones and it caused problems Fronius have since changed all of them ( 4 in total to plastic)

Have you still got the monitor connected? You can't connect both at the same time as the controller has to have a SPOC.Sent using Tapatalk 4

I set the address on the KRC4 back to OEM, but the smart pad still won't connect. ?
Have you got an external monitor then ? has the krc booted up
Have you tried RDP on the smart pad

select rdp then connect ? -
Skyfire is the robot project not in the archive under this path c:\KRC\User ?
