If you have a SAFERDC you still must wire the X40 jumper plug. Even if you have disabled the option in software.

Is the Robot "ABSOLUTEVERMESSEN"? Absolute accurate, measured Robot. Best for machining.

The RDC2 has a limited number of writes to the EEPROM and can require changing. Or can just be a bad RDC2.

There is also a Battery in the Denso side of the KRC2SR. Behind a small metal plate.

The battery pack in the Robot, the Denso Battery and the regular Kuka Lead Acid Accu's should be changed max 2 years.
