It seems like they are all CS8C.
Thanks I thought they should be! I have 3 others available as well. Any idea on these?

Hello HeyItsMe,
This is pretty easy to answer. From the factory the serial number of the controller machtes the serial number of the arm.
Example:
Arm F11_5G0YA1_A_01 = Controller F11_5G0YA1_C_01
The A becomes a C (Arm and Controller).
Psyril, thanks for the reply. Is there any way to tell if that means its a CS8 controller?
Also, can you tell what type the arm is by the serial numbers? I'm wondering if one of the numbers I mentioned might be a TX90 rather than an RX160.

2011 Staubli RX160 - would this have only been available with a CS8 controller or were there other options?
Seems like there are some years where both CS7 and CS8s were available. When were CS7s phased out completely? Are all CS8s still under service?
I'm looking at picking up 3 used RX160s. The owner has the serial numbers for the arms but doesn't know what controllers they came with and they are crated and difficult to get to. The owner bought them used and never used them. I'm trying to figure out if they are CS8s before I start to negotiate and push the seller to verify. I've reached out to Staubli but they won't help.
Thanks for any help. Serial numbers are:

F115G1CB1A01
