we are not able to put IP address of PLC in robot when we put robot in adapter mode. I am not able to understand which setting is responsible for this error.
Hi there Yuvraj , You don't put in any ip address (in the robot)for the adapter settings. You do need to set an IP address in the 'Host Comm' setting and give the robot itself an IP that is on the same subnet as your PLC. In the PLC, you will use 2 separate msg blocks - 1 for writing to the robot at the specified IP address and 1 for reading the robot. Also, in the link that Sergei gave you, please look at the posts I made about local vs remote. Every 1100 I had programmed with fanuc robots had to be changed to work.
