Hi,
long time ago You asked information for 1JF board. Have You got something?. In case Yes would You be so kind to share it with me.
Thaks You
I am not 100% sure that it is a D40 and do not know how to confirm it. I uploaded a picture of the controller, I do not know if it is enough for You to identify it. In case not please be so kind to let me know where I can find the controller type indication.
Yes, I know that X9 pins 5 and 6 shows are external motor power on circuit I have checked it and it works.
Have you stopped ALL PC Tasks and tried turning motor power on?. I am new to robot world, would You be so kind to let me know how to check if all PC tasks are stopped and in case no how to stop them.
I manually returned the arm to the home position. I am not sure if it has an external overtravel switch.
I tried pressing the red overtavel button on the 1KP and pressed motor power but nothing happens
I made further checkings on the 1KP board. I have checked that RY3 relay is activated and then closing the S11-S12 and S21-S22 enabling the safety barrier inside the MCUnit. On the other hand when I press motor power button RY4 on the 1KP relay should be activated but it is not energized by the controller on the 1KP.
I follow the circuit on the 1KP and identified the buffer IC that drives the relay (U5 pin 12) and the CPU output (U10 pin 68) that activates the buffer. As the output of the bufffer is open collector type I manually forced it RY4 was energized and MCUnit turn power on but of course I got an error message.
I uploaded some pictures related to my comments above that You could through the following link
As far as I read from the drawing RY4 activation is software controlled and it looks that the controller doesn´t issue the motor power on signal when requested.
Is there any way to know what conditions must be met for the controller to decide to energize RY4 ?.
Thanks a lot again for Your patience and sorry if I made silly questions but I am new on the robot's world.
Regards
Hi, thanks a lot for acccepting my question to the forum.
Emergency stop icon is off in the top right side of the teach pendant.
Motor Power light is OFF
Error happens both teach and repeat modes.
I tried both in Run or Hold modes.
X7, X8 and X9 are wired as double safety. Everything in the 1KP seems to be Ok because all the lights are ON even MPENA led.
I wonder if the firmware could include other extra interlocks (others that those in the 1KP inputs) that could be preventing the MPON signal to be issued tothe MCUnit.
I leave a link to my google drive where I uploaded pictures https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/…Y9C?usp=sharing
Thanks again for Your help
Dear All,
I am struggling with a welding robot (serial nr FA0060876) that was powered off for 3 years. Now I want to get it back on service. I have changed batteries and now robot boots up without indicating any error. The problem is that although all the safety conditions seems to be met (I see that MPENA led on 1KP board is ligthed) when I press MPOn push button the MCUnit doesn´t power the motors but no alarmas are shown.
I have check the MCUnit hardware and everything is Ok, moreover if I manually provide the power on signal the MCUnit powers the motors.
Could there be any firmware issue, something that stayed in a random state inside the memory and needs a deep reset?.
I will kindly appreciate any advice that help me to solve this issue.
Regards
