So when setting up a program how do I add the instruction “request_to_enter” ?? I do not see anything in the instruction menus that gives me the option. And in the programs that I have seen with this set up it doesnt reference the digital input specifically in the lines code. It simply says Request_to_enter on the line.

How can i disable this weld eq in order to get the robot to run the program without welding? R30ib plus controller and robot model is arcmate 100id. Ane info is appreciated.

Ive had similar problem when the battery was removed and the controller was unplugged. Now when you turn on controller its a blank pendant screen. If i hold f1 f5 and do a cold start boot mon screen comes up. I dont know what to do from there? What do i select? I dont care about sram data being lost do i have to do an image backup? We had this same issue before with a blank tp screen and someone got it back to normal all mastering was wiped etc. but thats ok. Any suggestions?

Ok so pdl states above that “You can update from minor revisions, i.e. v7.70p/23 to v7.7p/54.“ so there are still revisions within the .7 which is the p/23 updated to p/54 Thats what I was misunderstanding. Thanks for the info

Is the full core load the same as the “reburn” that fanuc mentioned they could send me? And what would that cost around?

So where do i get the auto update on the flashdrive? Does fanuc send it? Or can i get it somewhere?

So the new auto update I assume requires ethernet? And does this give you the options of choosing the minor rev? Or does it choose the most recent rev released for you automatically?

So im going to refer to the backup robot as R2, and the robot that I am trying to get the programs from will be refered to as R1. I was told these robots were identical, but after looking into them they are not. I will list the information u asked for below. Thank you
R1 pick place robot (no arcmate)
Model- M-10ia 12
Controller- R-30iB
software- v8.30p/27

R2 (back up) arcmate
Model- M-20ia

Newbie here. So we have a pick place robot that places part in cnc. It has dcs parameters etc. we want to take all the programs from this and load it onto another identical (fanuc) robot. What files should be backed up in order to do this? Just tp? Or would you be able to just back up all of the above and restore it to the other? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
