Hey no problem... ah yes the D61 scara- we have dealt with them a little as well.
I'll write up what I found here so maybe it will help someone out there. The D60 series one I mentioned are interchangeable- there is just a different heat sink / cooling thing on one of them. Anyway when I tried the earlier style D60 it also lost power as soon as turned it on. (actually I plugged in one driver at a time and eventually one of them killed the controller) Never init'd the robot just turned on the controller
Never got the LED back even with all cables unplugged.
I tore down the controllers and found both controllers had the same symptom F102 fuse on the backplane blown.
In the end I ohm'd out the motors via the driver cables and found one motor had each phase UVW all shorted to ground.
got it swapped out and replaced the fuse which was like clear shrink coated and press fit into side cups... and on the road to recovery.
