Hello all! I've been combing the forums for a similar issue but cant seem to find the right post on it..
Need to knows- Working on a FANUC Arc Mate 100iC with a R-30iB plus controller.
Is there any way to get through the write protection on the system variables so that may extend the time allowed for the arc to remain on with no motion?
I currently am trying to lengthen a wait statement that I have on one of my welding programs. My problem is that I need to add less than a half second to my wait statement so that my arc penetrates the way that I need it to. So far my wait statement is at 1.25 seconds. What I am aware of so far(only 1 year of robotic operating experience with no training) is that I need to change one of my system variables to allow the arc to remain on a 0.5 second longer with no movement, but I dont know which variable it is or what I need to do do make it happen.
I'm prepared to just add a low speed weld schedule in the beginning of the weld to see if it has relatively the same effect.. but I'd like to see if I can find the simpler solution with some help from all of you experts out there!
Like I said I'm still new to the game, but I'm a sucker for learning new things so any help and new information would be appreciated.
