I have a robot M710 with 30ia controller with a Plc rack Build in. I want to use the Uop signals to control the robot in remote via DI/DO. The robot is in production right now and i am not able to do Some i/o config tests. That is why i want to be prepared when i must reconfigure the robot, i only got 1 week to go from production stop to run with the new configuration. I'm not using profinet and i want to communicate with Di/Do with a Siemens 1200 PLC. When I put in 2 DI Fanuc Cards and 2 DO Fanuc cards in de rack and i configure the Uop like this :
Ui[1-18] rack1 slot1 start1
uo[1-20] rack1 slot3 start1
Will then the ui signals be available on the first 2 input cards and the uo signals on Card 3 and 4?
When i want to use for instance a start button and i Wire the first inputcard input 6 (UI[6]), is this ok?
Can i make a configuration where i can chose only the signals that i want to use e.g. Hold on first input, start on 2e input.... ? Will the config looks like this?
Ui[1-1] rack0 slot0 start 0 unasg
Ui[2-2] rack1 slot1 start 1 active
Ui[3-5] rack0 slot0 start 0 unasg
Ui[6-6] rack1 slot1 start 2 active
Ui[7-18] rack0 slot0 start 0 unasg
I then only use 2 inputs. Can i use all the other inputs as normal DI?
