I've been trying to boot up my CS8 controller but it stalls at the all leds on the pendant flashing stage.
The only action I can do is If I press 'shift' plus 'return' which brings up a menu to do with testing various functions.
Nothing useful, and a press of 'shift' plus 'return' exits back to the endless flashing.
It's flashing frustrating.
I'd be gratefull for any help please...
CS8 boot fail with all lights flashing...

[list type=decimal]
- Grab your static strap & ground yourself.
- Power off the cabinet & lock out the power.
- Open cabinet & pull the computer cards.
- Give the card connectors and pin-out tabs a good wipe to try to eliminate all static charge.
- Put everything back, remove lock out, power up.
- Still doesn't work...call Stubby.

Hi,
90% sure the CPU board battery was depleted, and the system could not boot up. Connect a monitor, a PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard (NOT USB!!!).
You will see if the CPU board boot up sequence is done or not.
- If it was succesfull, then you will see many +++++ marks on the screen, but no graphical interface.
- If no, then a simple F1 on the PS/2 keyboard helps you during the current switch on, but you have to replace the CPU board battery (TL842 as far as I remember 3,6V not a simple CR2032!!)Regards,
