IRB 6400 s4 controller. Controller "died" last week, fault lights on all system boards, traced it to faulty axis 1 drive unit that was shorting 15v circuit, keeping power supply, and by extension, computer boards from initializing. However, during troubleshooting, cards were removed, hence the cold boot. (all LEDs good now)
Loaded software, tried several times using what I thought were correct SYSPAR backups. I know my I/O backup is good, but I cannot calibrate or even jog the arm now.
I am receiving errors with no error codes. One says the servo task is not initialized. another says "no robot master". so basically my robot is in a system failure state, another odd thing is I have errors saying the drive units are of the wrong type.. but they are the same ones..
I could really use a tip here
