hello, new in the robot world, we have a lr mate 200iD fanuc robot Was wondering what are the ways to
detect an object (with prox,sensor) between two points of motion ? I used the monitor / monitor end
instruction yesterday and didnt know weather that is correct way. Only problem that I saw was a person
was forced into a none motion subroutine . Hoping someone could give some insight to this , possible
instructions to use etc... thank you !!!

I think what you need is the SKIP instruction
like
SKIP [CONDITION] = [VALUE]
L P[2] 100mm/sec FINE SKIP, LBL[x]You define a SKIP condition (in your case check that your prox signal is ON)
Add the SKIP termination to a motion instructionThe robot will start to move to the programmed position, if the condition is meet the movement is interrupted and continues on the next instruction
If the condtion is not satisfied and robot reachs the point then jumps to the label you specified
