Hello Everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me out. What I need is, in an event of a crash, or anything else that would cause the robot program to be aborted, I need to create a separate go to home program that will safely move my robot to the home position no matter where it stopped, without crashing into the part. For this to happen, I need my robot first to move in a straight line away from the part in the x direction. It has to move to 200mm from the user frame ONLY in the x direction, no matter where it is. Then once it has moved to that position, I can safely take it home.
What I need help with is how do I make the robot move only in one axis not matter where it is located? Let me know if I am not being clear or if you need any information.
By the way the robot is a Fanuc M-710iC50
