Hi, i have a kr15 and krc1 and normaly i use it to Tig welding with wire feeder.
But now I have a plasma cutter attached
My question is when i have made a route to cut out, exampel a square ore circel and i want to cut/move my tool a few mm offset to outwards how do i do that? Is it compicated?
Thanks Bart.

First set tool z direction correctly then you can add or sub sum offset the $tool.z value.

"outwards" is a bit ambiguous, I am thinking they maybe want to offset it to make a bigger square? If so, this would be hard to do with only a tool shift. If it really is just a square or circle there can probably be a parametric program to make it(and then a user input could recalculate the path), but if it is more complex I think it would be back to the computer/CAD to rewrite the program. As far as I know, there is no analog in KRL to G41/G42 (diameter compensation) in CNC gcode.
