motoman nx100 serching problem
« on: July 14, 2018, 07:45:53 AM »
hi,
I currently have a searching problem with nx100. the robot moves to the point before the ref1 but does not want to even search the part. it just pauses. I have ran this program numerous times before with no issue and nothing has been changed on the program. checked all the cables inside the torch and all look In good working order. any ideas what else it could be??

Check to make sure the searched input is not on all the time.

The search should use the rapid inputs.  Under I/O you should be able to find RIN (for rapid input).  If any of them are on when you are not searching you have a problem.  Sometimes they come on as soon as the robot turns the search output on.  Monitor the RIN when the program runs.
