I am writing this regarding an error related to welding which I have been trying to tackle for a while. At times for seams for welding we see the error “Bad Signal detected with activate Control”
Or “No good signal can be detected in order to activate control”. The error first appeared when we have had to change some welding parameters which included increasing the “Wire Feed Speed” and changing the Arc length correction factor value. The error could be related to “Arc sense control”. I had spoken to a Kuka welding expert regarding this previously who had recommended to modify/redo the concerning seam where it kept stopping occasionally. This solved the problem for the program.
There was new program created for a different part, and the same error started appearing again. The strange part is that the program ran well for first few parts but throwing the error again. From my understanding, whenever the tool twist changes rapidly through a seam the error shows up, but I could be wrong as this would show up again even after resetting the seam and starting over again.
