Sergei Troizky No, I don't want to kill the power to the PLC. That'd be a mess.
My VFD is controlled by my PLC, so I was thinking of shutting off the output to the VFD's "enable", "forward", and "reverse" pins which are all of the I/O the VFD needs to turn on the motor its connected to. I guess it's an option, but I don't want to fully disconnect the power to the VFD or the Motor by switching their AC power lines on/off.
I just want to stop the VFD when I press the E-Stops on the Cabinet and the TP
As far as I understand, the EMGIN contacts are meant for external E-Stop Buttons. I think Kwakisaki's ESPB contacts are what I need, and not being safety checked is noted.
