    Update on this topic:

The Zero % Override setting from the System/Config menu is only working in combination with the Override Select function (MENU > SETUP > Ovrd Select). When Zero % Override is set to TRUE and the Override Select function is configured and enabled, it is possible to send an override of 0 and stop the robot without dropping the Hold signal. The system variable $MCR.$OVR_ZERO indicates if the override is 0 (TRUE) or <>0 (FALSE).

BTW: From software version 7DF3 (V9.30P/18) or later and 7DF5 (V9.40P/15) or later, it is possible to configure a GI for the override value.

I am running ROBOGUIDE on a Windows 11 computer without any problems. Install revision T first and after that, you can install a newer revision. Simply confirm the upcoming error messages and continue the installation. It is important to install ROBOGUIDE as administrator.

    Guys,

I'm trying to understand the Soft Rat and Soft Tol parameters from the Cartesian SoftFloat setup but I don't really get it (even after reading the manual B-83284EN-2/10 several times). Can somebody explain the meaning and the purpose of Soft Rat and Soft Tol and how the settings of both parameters interact or rather affect each other?

    Thanks in advance!

The Global Points checkbox is locked out and says I must have rights for global touchup in order to activate this as a global parameter. I am logged in as Admin, what else do I need to do to get permission to check this box?

You have to change the setting of "Teach/modify global points" in the rights management. By default it is deactivated.

Open the DCS Pos./Speed Check Setup Menu and set "Shift+Reset Direction Check" to ENABLE. If I remember correctly, it should then only be possible to jog the robot into the right direction (back into the safe zone).

I had the same a while ago but I can't remember exactly how to solve it. Try to upload the safety configuration from your controller and download it back again. Also try to upload and save the configuration. Open the configuration in RobotStudio and then download again. It was something like this to update the version.

This thread could be interesting for your.

In case if the battery is dead and if the power went down , I can enter the DMR group numbers manually right ?

Set a Quick Master reference position (for example all axes at 0) and in case mastering is lost you can simply perform a Quick Mastering. There is no need to manually enter the master counts after a BZAL alarm.

BLAL is just a battery low alarm. I would recommend to not power off the controller until you have changed the batteries. Once you have changed the batteries, the BLAL alarm will automatically reset.

The payload configuration notification is normal for a brand new robot. And regarding the Quick Master reference position. You can set a Ref Pos under MENU > SYSTEM > Master/Cal > SET QUICK MASTER REF.

I don't understand why FANUC decided to no longer have the download link for Roboguide on their portal. The only way is to ask FANUC tech support or your local sales rep.
