First of all you need to check if that is, in fact, the issue. Go to [Menu] - [Setup] - [BG Logic], and for each TP that is present there, open it and try find where the problem is.

Yes, the PCMCIA. Yup, sometimes it solves my issues, if you have one laying around, be sure to give it a try!
