Are you following the instructions here?
https://developercenter.robotstudio.com/api/rwsApi/rap…a_set_page.html
First you need to login as a remote user, then request mastership and then run the update command.

I think you can run this example using Visual studio
Code// Setup http client handler handler = new HttpClientHandler(); handler.Proxy = null; // disable the proxy, the controller is connected on same subnet as the PC handler.UseProxy = false; handler.UseCookies = true; handler.CookieContainer = CookieMonster; handler.Credentials = Credentials; // Create http client client = new HttpClient(handler);
Code
Display Morepublic static async Task CtrlBackup(HttpClient client, string backupfolder) { var url = "/ctrl/backup?action=backup"; var stringContent = new FormUrlEncodedContent(new[] { new KeyValuePair("backup", backupfolder), }); // Send a request continue when complete using (HttpResponseMessage response = await client.PostAsync(ipaddress + url, stringContent)) using (HttpContent content = response.Content) { // Check that response was successful or throw exception response.EnsureSuccessStatusCode(); } }

Hi Rookie,
I am in the same situation as you. Testing RWS using VS and I am also a rookie when using C#.
However I have made some progress in running the commands through a console application. And I am able to run most of the operations.
I have found that there are only 4 examples on how to use the API here: https://developercenter.robotstudio.com/api/rwsApi/examples.htmlWhat do you need to use RWS for?
