Not an integrator. That’s a fake it till you make it cluster…..

Maint Mode is accessed by holding down [MAIN MENU] while turning power on to the controller. You put a USB into the back of the pendent and then go to {EX MEMORY}>{SAVE}>[ARROW DOWN]>"CMOS.BIN" then Press [SELECT]>[ENTER] it should say at the bottom of the screen "Do not turn controller off etc." Then take that CMOS.BIN and send it. The file will probably be too big for email servers so you will need to file transfer it. Good Luck!

So you will have to make sure the base axes are set up correctly RECTX or RECTY and also that the motor direction is correct. Forward and Reverse. Then you teach TCP to each robot and then do RB Calibration 3 point touch with TCPs to setup interference so they don't hit each other. Then you can use PSTART and Tsync to make sure things are running smoothly. If you provide details on how your robots are mounted to the track, facing, and gear rack position I can assist with Base Axis setup so that things work well.

Were the welders run off of the rotary phase converters also?
hmm I am trying to remember is the power supply was run off of it as well. They were auto axcess 300. The controllers were dx100m and MH5. Somewhere I have a picture of the phase convertor. The handling systems were all FS100 which is single phase.

Are you referring to the SERVO ON READY button every time you need to pull in the servo enable switch on the back of the pendent? You can change this under SETUP->OPERATE COND->bottom of screen is SV ON READY OFF AT DSW RELEASED set to "INVALID". Now it will function like DX200 and before. But this setting will change back to "VALID" upon power cycle.

For this my favorite is Axis Block Function
Station 1 is S4C0216 set to Universal Input number you want to use example 32
Input on=axis movement
Input off=axis blocked
S2=217
S3=218
Etc.

So when you have a base axis involved does arm interference automatically take into account the change in robot position at is travels down the track? Is there a setting to tell it to monitor base position relative to another arm mounted on a separate moving base platform?

What generation controller? Possible to Remote Pendent Display on computer and capture the screen through a video editing/recording software?

You don't realize the value of a cable until you have several pendants. That cable keeps the pendant from walking away or being misplaced. There are some auto retractable pendent cable setups that may benefit you. I believe there is the option to run without a pendent "while operating in remote mode" then hook the pendent up for teaching applications.

Also not valid for DX100 unless I am missing something. Starts with DX200

I would use flux core gas shielded wire for this application. You could use a L shaped weave profile and pulse welding. Robot pause on the toes will help to concentrate on the sides for fill. You pass through the center twice as often as the sides so you will need to make sure you do not spend any time in the middle or it will convex on you. But I believe you will see better results from a change in wire.

Im having a rough time trying to get a dx200 to take a screenshot. I power cycled the cabinet, press and held aux and area till a beep was heard in the start up seq. Inserted the usb once I got to the desired screen but once there it wont take a screen shot. Any suggestions or anyone know what Im doing wrong?
It should be working then. It will save to the root of your USB. Also make sure you are holding AUX and AREA both when you power up until after the beep. Then when you go to screen shot hold down AUX and AREA at the same time and release. You should see a little confirmation print screen thing in the middle of the screen very windows looking notification pop up.
If you reboot you need to hold down AUX and AREA again as you boot up.

Is it possible to have endless rotation (rezero pulse counts) on an external axis that is a twin drive (two motors facing each other one normal and one reverse rotation)?
-
There is something called Mirror Shift but it may not be enabled on your controller. Would be under Utility at the top of the screen when your viewing a job.
-
Would the GETTOOL / SETTOOL be applicable for this? For example Toolsight allows for modification of a tool file based on feedback from the shifted position after searching in the XY laser crosshairs (usually used for bent welding torch).
-
Depends on if you want to just increase the pulse limits or do endless rotation where the pulse count would rezero and not require unwinding. The Tilt is limited to keep from ripping cables apart but the turn or final axis be it T axis on robot or 8th axis on a Tilt Rotate positioner can be made to do endless rotation.
