No, I don't have the CD.
By KRC2 I mean the we have a KUKA KRC2 here KSS 5.6.9. I made a copy of the devnet.ini arquive of the HD from that KRC2, I'm using on the KRC1 that I'm trying to configure the devicenet. That file was also missing.

Hello guys.
I did not found that driver dndrv.o on the HD, as well as the devnet.ini archive was missing, what I believe is actually weird (I had to take a copy from our KRC2, one of you guys told me that the devnet.ini is same for KRC1 and KRC2). I tried the same thing with the driver dndrv.0, made a copy from our KRC2, tried to configure like "DEVNET=2,dnInit,dndrv.o (by renaming it), DEVNET=2,dnInit,dn2drv.o, DEVNET=2,dnInit,Dndrv.o and DEVNET=2,dnInit,Dn2drv.o. Still have the same error, I does not recognizes the driver from the KRC2.The dn2drv.o can be used starting with V 4.1 (I believe) and therefore your configuration of i/o's in iosys.ini is incorrect
I believed it was worth to try. There is no way you can post the original archive here right? Cause it is from KUKA and stuff.
What error messages do you have rigth now?
the second left led shows that (CAN)bus is running
the first right led shows: you have Us
the second right led shows: Up is missing (this is the reason you won't see any outputs)
the third right led shows: K-Bus is running
Im really sorry for my ignorance, but what does it means to "Have Us" and "Up is missing" what are these?

This is the content of the drivers directory. It really does not have dndrv.o. What should I do to get the devnet driver now?
-
These are the errors:
-
I supplied the red and black wire with 24V, now the LEDs are like on the photo:
as SkyFire suggested:
DEVNET=2,dnInit,dndrv.o
your latetest picture shows
DEVNET=2,dnInit,dn2drv.o
Yes, I deleted the number 2 and still had the same error.
you also can comment the MFC out (because not used):
;MFC=0,mfcEntry,mfcdrv.o
I already tried to do this, but it looks like it didn't changed anything.
I'm starting to despair haha -
I deleted the number 2 on DN2DRV, and saved, but the same message appeared. I reconfigured the IO’s and performed a cold start on the controller. Same message. What else can be missing? Should I take the iosys.ini from a new KRC2? Like I did with the devnet.ini archive.
-
Okay Skyfire and MOM, I added the devnet driver to the iosys. But the error from the photo attached occurred. Is there something else missing? Is the supply of the card okay? I already performed a coldstart and reconfigured the IOs
-
panic mode, can you point at the photo what is wrong or missing in the wiring? Thank you very much for the help.
MOM, Thank you too for all the info, I set up the macid back to 1. I also attached the photo you asked, can you please take a look?

The devicenet cable is connect do the MFC.

Photos of the beckhoff cards, you can see the jump I made to test both cards.

Hello guys, I’m going to attach some photos of the current state of the robot and is devicenet configuration. I believe you guys will manage to spot what I’m doing wrong with these photos.
-
Skyefire
1. did you reboot the robot after making the changes to DEVNET.INI? Yes, several times.
2. What errors is the robot showing, if any? I attached a photo here, i’m sorry for my ignorance but does this affects the device net?
3. Did you provide output power to the Beckhoff? This is usually separate from the 24VDC on the DevNet cable. Yes, this part is okay.
Panic Mode, I’ve tried with 11, but the LEDs on the output card does not light, still.
Mom
Can you explain how I recognize the driver?

Hello guys!
I know it’s been a while since I posted on this thread. But I’m back trying to configure DeviceNet on KRC1.
I managed to put the devnet.ini arquive on the HD, now the files are like this:
devnet.ini:
[krc]
debug=1
baudrate=500
LOGFILE=1
[1]
macid=1
iosys.ini:
[DEVNET] (this was already in the file)
INB0=1,0,x2
OUTB0=1,0,x2
The first wheel on the BK5250 is on 0 and the second is on 1 (which I believe it’s number 1 address)
I can set outputs on the KCP1, but the LEDs on KL2809 does not light, I made a jump from the output 1 to the input 1 of the KL1809 and the LEDs does not light as well. It has a KL9010 in the end.
Do you guys have any idea of what could be wrong or what is missing on this configuration?

Hello guys!
I’m testing a KUKA KRC4 Compact KR 10 R1100, but the smartpad does not boot up only in a monitor. I obviously changed the smartpad and the same failure occurs. Both smartpads are working in another robots, I obviously tried without the monitor to test it out. And I already changed the whole CCU, and it did not booted on the monitor, probably there is some sorda incompatibility with the CCUs. But do you guys have any ideia of what could be happening with this controller?
Thank you!

Hello guys!
I’m trying to configure devicenet with MFC board on KUKA KRC1 KSS V2.3.34 SP08. But I could not find the devnet.INI Archive so I can configure macid, I only found iosys.INI, in init. Do you guys have ideia if the archive has the same name in KRC1 (Devnet.ini) or the is another way to configure macid?
Thank you!

Thank for your answer panic mode, a photo of the errors is attached. The same two messages appear when I try to move A4, A5 and A6
-
It’s KSS V2.3.34 SP08

Hello guys!
I’m testing a KUKA KRC1 cabinet with a KR 200-4 robot but the AXIS A4, A5 and A6 do not move. A1, A2 and A3 are fine. When I try to move the last 3 axis, the following message appears: Ackn: Motor blocked A4... Drives contractor off. Is it a failure from the PM6? What should I look on the PM6 to see if it is defective?
Thank you!

No time to wait and no schedule, so what do you say?

Hello Panicmode, I would like to know if you could possibly make a procedure explaining how I should do this on bigger and smaller robots. I could pay for you service.
