These robots are very easy to program, the software is window based, so it feels familiar. Message me with specific questions.

Panasonic Batteries have a short shelf life, I would ensure the new batteries are good. Then try to reset the encoders again.
I usually have the teach pendant with me when I short out the two probes, and when it is satisfied, the axis disappears from the teach pendant.

I think it is the controller for the "dice" which is the motor and gear box for a positioner. Not worth much.

Go to the alarm page and hit the "RES_1CH" if that doesn't work, then you have some wiring issues to your safety board. Put the jumpers back in, if the alarm goes away, you know that the wiring is faulty.

Have them write on their fingers with an ink pen.
-
PR[]=JPOS
or
PR[]=LPOS
running this line will put the current position of the robot into a PR.
Then PR[i,j]=R[] can extract the specific axis into a register.
PR[100]=JPOS
PR[100,3]=R[1]
this example will put the joint angle of axis 3 into register 1.

I think you need to change the Weld Procedure. Different procedures and different equipment gives different data.

If you drive the robot to a pointer/fixture, jog the axis in joint until they line up to your pointer/fixture, then type in the values into single axis master.
-
Try using a User frame.

Check to make sure the jumpers are in on the E-stop board

R-30iB controller, when the robot is running in auto after a few minutes of no contact with the TP, it goes to a page that says "No Faults at this Time"
How do I get it to NOT do that? I looked under $UI_Config and could not find anything. Anyone else know how to turn off this feature?

should be similar

First you need to make sure your robot has the software and hardware. You may need to purchase a DeviceNet Card, and the software option from Fanuc. If your robot does not have that option, be sure to have the core software memory card of your robot.

when you look at the position, hit the [repre] button and change it to joint
-
You may have the wrong teach pendant. Some are single channel, and some are dual channel
-
Shift+Display
select "Change Equipment"
Or Shift+Coord, then change T to 1
-
$ERNOHIS=2
this variable will get rid of all the "resets" from the alarm log
