    I have the sony vision system on the Fanuc robots to detect the bolt head and then torque the bolt.

    I have one robot torqueing 4 bolts on 4 different locations. Sometimes The robot wont go to the center of the bolt and the torX bit will not engage into the bolt head and spins at its edge. Once we replace the bolt we can see the bit was spun on the shifted from the actual center.


    Is this a communication problem between the vision system and the robot?


    Please advise.
