Yes, the funny thing is that the problem is not on the Mac/Parallels - it can find the controller with no issues over wifi, connected to the router.

My issue is the Windows PC that is also connected to the router via cable...

    Hello guys!

Im experiencing a weird connection issue with workvisual, and I believe it could be a stupid config, but i have not been able to identify what is happening.

So, I have a computer which is connected via ethernet cable to a router using fixed IP (172.31.1.130) and the controller is connected to the router via KLI interface (XF5 port to be exact).

When i have my laptop (Mac running windows in Parallels with the wifi setup to the same ip range as the controller), it will connect 100% of the time with the controller, never once have failed to find the controller.

In comparison, the computer which is wired to the router, it has failed for over a month finding the controller, to suddenly find it for another month, and now has just stopped fiding completely.

I have tried changing the IP address and have ensured to set the network as particular, and open ports on windows firewall (also tried to disable firewall), but I have not been able to connect to it since.

Ping works perfectly, and I can also communicate with the controller using KukaVarProxy, but workvisual wont work...

Any ideas of what i could try? I have set gateway address as router ip so i can set up network as private. Before this change it showed the same behaviour, not being able to connect.

    Hello panic mode

I have made a quick video to show what is happening.

As you can see, I add the ports, as per procedure, and if I open network config right after, changes seems to not be saved. I added the port and saved changes again, and then rebooted with reload files. No luck after that.

PS. there are a lot of error messages, the robot is not connected to the controller, and having the robot connected does not change this behaviour.

PS2. it was going to be harder to edit the video, so i just filmed all the way through reboot.

    Hello panic mode !

I have tried that. Right after adding, it requests me to reboot with reload files checked.

After rebooting it seems as it does not save the new setting. Same thing if I click save, exit network configuration and open right after it.

I have two KRC4 with KSS 8.6 if I'm not mistaken and this function works properly! Only this new KRC5 micro with KSS 8.7.2 that won's save changes.

    Hello Guys!

I just received a new KRC5 micro and I am trying to enable communications with KUKAVARPROXY.

Turns out I cannot open the necessary door as per required by KVP.

Whenever I try with the smartpad, it will ask to save the changes and reboot. After rebooting there is no saved open door.

Does anybody know another way to open the door, or change the listening door for KVP?

    Best regards,

    Caio
