    OK, so once more.


    I don't need the second KRC2. It is only placed in configuration so I'm able to deploy the project. That is because my robot comes with preinstalled Profinet M/S. When I try to deploy the project with no devices in the Profinet IO branch, the WoV asks me to install the Profinet S option for which I have no kop file. So there comes the question - Am I able to use Profinet M/S option when KRC4 is just slave to PLC? If so, how can I configure it?


    As for the I/O mapping, I did it for the safety addresses at a PLC side and as I mentioned before, the data is correctly exchanged, DiagnosisSafety tool is showing the correct state of all required input bits.

    1. Two controllers are there because I only have Profinet M/S package installed on the robot. When there is only one KRC4 I get a message that Profinet S package is missing (which is true) and deploy is not possible. The second KRC4_1 is just a placeholder.
    2. Why do I need I/O mapping in WorkVisual? All the safety signals from/to PLC are correctly exchanged with KRC4...

    Hi all. I'm writing regarding my problem with Profisafe. Looks kind of all other topics that were posted before and yet I cannot find solution.
    Here is my story:


    I got KUKA KR150 R3100 prime as a second-hand robot yet fully refurbished in factory.
    Its configuration is as follows:

    From factory safety was based on X11 but I wanted Profisafe so...


    1. I configured SIEMENS S7-1215F to talk to Kuka (imported gsdml, set proper partner ID, set all reserved signals to true etc. generally this works correctly as I can monitor safety signals exchange between PLC and KRC4)


    2. I disconnected SIB from CCU (white plug)


    3. I put jumpers on X11 (which is still connected to X311) on pins: 11-12, 29-30, 13-14, 31-32

    4. I configured and uploaded WorksVisual project:

    My symptoms:
    - Changing mode (via key) between T1/T2/EXT AUT / AUT is not possible
    - Lack of signals needed for operation (as seen in safety interfaces):

    Profisafe inputs: All conditions met
    Profisafe outputs:
    Drive enable (AF) missing
    Motion enable (FF) missing
