Yes i have the image before. We need to add modbus because the use another equipement that it use only modbus TCP. Yes, the configuration is the same. So I think there is a difference between the old and the new firmware.

The new version of profinet is 8.20.039.

Yes , I think there is a new system variable or something because the board is detected by robot controller (R30-IB) and the PLC but the commincuation is missing.

We have some error message :

Prio 605 : 03ff open error

OS-148 : assert COMM 277

I need your help.

I do an update on my robot M710-ic powered by a R30-ib controller.

And now my profinet board is detected but it doesn't start. it's impossible to start the communciation between my PLC and robot but the board is detected by the both devices.

Have you any ideas ?

May be the new firmware has a new system variable to start the profinet board by default ?

Hello everyone,

I'm new user of Fanuc robot. I'll try to open file to use socket messaging but robot return "file is not open" with IO_status => 67212.

I use the folowing synthax => OPEN FILE file_var('RW','S8:').

But i can't open file, you have any idea ?

i am new member so i want to present myself :
i am new user of fanuc robots. Before i use staubli and ABB and i work on tall logistics platform who send electrical part.

My issue :
i write a karel program with my editor, i translate it with ktrans and i get the .pc file.

Now i need to load this program in controller, so i load the .pc file in menu "file" load all *.pc.
But my program is unfoundable !!!

i try call in TP program or select in menu ... nothing

Have you any ideas ?
