Okay, I have an image that was passed on to me by a kuka technician, it is meant to be factory. To solve this problem, I will make a current image of the robot and also a backup, then I will pass the image 8.3.39 from the factory and restore the backup, I believe that this way the problem will be solved, if it does not happen, I have the previous image as a backup .

It looks like HMI crashed. how long it runs before this happens? do you reboot and how often? what type of start - cold start or hibernate? you can take KRCDiag and send to Kuka

at any rate, personally, i would make full backups then try upgrading KSS to something newer, at least 8.3.15, preferably 8.3.34 or so. this should bring many little fixes and improvements. as long as first two number are matching the cabinet sticker (major version KSS8.3), you don't need to worry about license.

if you run into any trouble, just restore.

Hello Panic Mode! Thanks for help!

The robot is currently running in a cold start. It causes the robot stop only when there is an anomaly in the cell (no signal, etc.) not referring to the KSS close. Do I have an image of the KSS 8.3.39 version, if I use it on this robot will cause a problem?

    Hello guys! All right?

I have 2 robots that are having the same problem.

KSS intermittently closes and I can't open it anymore. When that happens, I have to put a screen on the outside with a mouse and keyboard to be able to restart the robot.

The problem occurs in robots with KSS V8.3.7 and V8.3.8.

When an error occurs, the smart pad screen looks like the one below.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the replies guys.

You mentioned using SYN OUT -- does this mean the robot has some means of controlling the flow rate of the silicone?

If your dispenser takes an analog (or varying digital) value from the robot to control the flow rate, you could try looking at ANOUT ON in the Expert manual. It basically is a way you can connect an "analog" output directly to the realtime TCP velocity and get the output updated every 12ms. But even then, the response speed of your dispenser could end up being the limiting factor.

Unfortunately the robot cannot control the flow rate, only turning the silicone applicator on or off.

"Fixed Tool" -- I take it this means your dispense nozzle is fixed, and the robot is moving the part under it?

    Yes that's right.

It really is very difficult, I have done several tests and have not yet arrived in a piece with a good silicon flow rate. I will try to do this as you and that fubini commented to try to solve the problem.

What is the brand of the dispenser equipment controller? SCA, Intec, Nordson? Or it is custom made?

Hello my friend Massula, the dispenser equipament controller is custom made.

    Hello people,

I am trying to make an application of silicone deposit to glue, I have to pass the silicone with homogeneity and precision, but in the corners the robot slows to move to the points and increases speed to the next point. This creates mounds of silicone at the corners.

The silicone depositing machine is an external tool and the robot applies silicone to a rectangular piece.

I'm already using SLIN and SPTP points for this, I also use external TCP, I tried CONT with low approximations, also SYN OUT (with it I got about 60% of how it would have to be).

Does anyone have any idea how I can solve this problem?

The robot is model KR6 Agilus KRC4, KSS 8.3.32

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello guys!

I have a robot with KSS 4.1.7 SP04 running on Windows 95. I want to uninstall some tech packages from it but I can't find their uninstall.exe file. I searched for the OPT folder on disk C, searched for the name of the tech packages on disk C but only appear text files, none files to uninstall.

    Thanks for any help.

The two robots I tested have KPC running Windows 95. Today I got a KPC KRC2 running Windows XP. When testing the problem KCP, on Windows XP KPC it loaded normally! Very strange!

When KSS load with this particular KCP2, you get any error message tha contain "CAN BUS error" or something like that?

No Massula, no error message appears! It just doesn't load, most of the time it stays on the tech packages loading screen.

I've tried 2 robots, KR 125 and another KR 30, they are KRC2 EUROPE, the problem happens in both robots, but only with KCP2 informed above. If I use other KCP's the software loads normally.

    KSS is 5.6.10.

    KRC2 EUROPE.

    Hello People.

I have a KCP2 and that is working strangely. I know he is passive but he takes too long to load the KSS. But only with this KCP. If I use other KCPs with the same robot, they load the KSS normal.

    What can it be?

    Thanks for any help.
