I have a ES165RD with DX200. I need to know how to jumper the safety guard while in teach. The problem is that it's a sepro package so when I jumper the safety it puts it in low speed mode. Any help would be appreciated

I am randomly getting a safety signal timing error. Is there any settings that would affect this or do I need to consider replacing the board?

Ok yeah I was just curious if when the robot was stopped and needed to restart if I could have the plc call the top of sub1 master. Its been a little slow going because all I had to work with was the smart pendant which if anyone is wondering is absolutely useless if your setting up a robot or doing any advanced programming. So its going faster now that I was able to get a standard pendant on loan from Motoman.

Or can I have the PLC call the master job from anywhere?

I was wondering if its possible to run the master job but be able to call up a sub master job do do a recovery?

That's what I figured. Trying to see if there were other options out there because we are an integrator trying to set up a new robot and the customer opted for the smart pendant. It would have been fine but Motoman removes the standard pendant when you do that. The smart pendant is pretty much useless for integrating a robot. Here's a small list of things you can't use the smart pendant for.

I have a GP50 YRC1000 with the smart pendant. Downloaded the software from the pendant and restarted the controller. Now the controller won't boot up telling me to use the software from the computer but I can't access the controller with the computer. Any ideas short of calling motoman in?

Thats where the problem is this never came with any other software. It does have the FSU and thats when the alarm comes up.

We just fired up the GP50 with the smart pendant. I'm getting an alarm that says Software Pendant Required. It says I need the software pendant application from a computer. I've never seen this before with other pendants not sure what its asking for.

We are installing two robot calls with LR Mates and was wondering if there was a way to block them from touching up a PR position when on the job?

Pretty new to the YRC1000 I've never had to set up the user input groups. Is there any documentation on this or could someone explain how it works.

There should be a SD Card slot inside the cabinet. Can't remember the exact spot right now.
