We have a 3dV400 & R1000ia 100F setup. For Irvision camera calibration does it matter the height of the grid relative to the robot? In the step #2 it mentions 600-1300 height. Also what is the distance from grid to camera we should calibrate to so the focal distance matches? Which grid size works best for the 400

Im having an issue with our work robot so I am trying to learn the process better thru roboguide, I normally calibrated with a pointer but was trying to get the Auto Grid and Camera Cal a try. When we would run the EXECUTE it would run the first few camera positions fine but then just want to flip the camera 180. I was able to get roboguide to finish a cal just so I could see what was going on.

We just upgraded vision on one of our robots from a 2d camera to the 3DV/200 system...which required us to update to V9.40 software on the controller. This came from our sales rep and he made it sound like he made the custom USB load. We noticed V9.40 has some handy Vision features that our other two robots dont have and was wonder if I can use the V9.40 Update load from the fanuc login website. If so how do I go about updating with this download. Thanks

Just got a new 3DV/200 to replace a 2D vision system. Only setup guidance was the standard card you get with a new install. Thinking since this is an existing install I would only need to get the 3DV part installed and be able to keep my current settings. Am I wrong.

Trying to get our Fanuc to run in Auto Mode but it doesn't want to move. Is there a initial config setting I need to do first.

    1. Select the program I want to run with the teach pendant.

    2. Turn the key switch from T1 to auto

    3. Clear any alarms/ errors

    4. Hit the start button

Trying to drill a hole using a battery powered drill mounted to the robot. When I move down in VFINE I need to keep pushing the z-, can't just hold it and have it continue to move. Any suggestions.

I have the manuals for our robot but need some help finding the part describing the 2 1/2 D Vision setup. Does anyone know which manual it is in. Thanks

rf103...its not a split display issue.
HawkME...I will try that tomorrow, if it doesn't work then I will post a picture of the teach pendant screen

Also we have Version 9 of the ipendant software. It has the programming on the left side then the [inst]&[EDCM] commands on the right (as touch screen buttons). They are not pop-up menus.

We just purchased R-30iB Plus with a M20iA fanuc robot. The teach pendant layout is different and when programming it is split into two panes (Two displays). With that the font becomes really small and hard to read. Is there an option to stay in single display or zoom the programming area.
