this is also often a problem with the power supply unit

i dont think the messages on screen are connected, the low voltage one is purely the little battery on the computer that only affects system date and time?
-
pretty sure you cannot use an emulator with s3 controller.those floppy drives are really hit and miss, and the problem is often actually the robot computer

yes, im sure i have substituted m94a controllers with m97 in the past.at worst you may have to reload the baseware ŕ
-
i also need boot disks for m94a irb 6400.
I do have the key disk

i would like to change the language on a robot with the m2000 controller, i know i need to reload the entire system on m98 etc but wondered if there is a way of doing it without that on the m2000?

i purchased 2 yesterday from a company called rowse in the uk

from experience the low voltage error could mean a missing supply phase.the robot will sometimes boot with only 2 phases but will not move

hi i have an irb 6400 m94a robot that flatly refuses to move on any axis, the contactors clic in and stay in but no click from any of the brakes and no error msg.
I have swapped smb but just the same any ideas before i get too deep inside it?

hi skooter
i contacted the vendor and we worked out the cabinets had indeed been used with gantry robots.
the transformer does supply higher voltage so you were spot on ! -
Hi, i have just started to commission 4 irb6400 m99 units, all had been standing and had errors. I have cold booted 3 so far, one has been successful but the other 2 error 39111 wrong type found dc-link dsqc 345d found dsqc 345e expected .i assume however they were working before, anyone know the difference between 345d and e?
Many thanks in advance

bad connections inside the terminal block on rear of key may cause this

Reload boot disks? -
i have an irb6000 m93 robot which occasionally gives a 539 external rectifier fault.
but this robot has no external rectifier!! only 6 axes. have changed all boards apart from the main computer board.
i have even swapped the manipulator in case of base cable fault. anyone had any experience of this? -
this is usual and often means the wrist is trying to turn in the wrong direction to reach a point and will go out of its area.use robot coords as one of the first lines of code to get around this.
