In the compoany where I work the Configuration of the drives of S4C+ (IRB2400L) for drives is according to the picture:

Sometimes It occur with two robots where I work. In this case I restore a validated image backup in the memory card and it works again.

In this case, I believe that could be a file corrupted or a memory card fault.

I Think it could be problem in +/-15 V ( which is considered a Dc_LINK )

The original FAN for drives is EBM PAPST 1214 /12H ( see attached ).

However is not manufactured anymore.

Someone have already replaced for other model which have the same tacho signal. So it would be possible to monitor FAN Status ( picture attached).

The backup battery indicate drained permanently instead of charged.

What it means?

But When I will remove the motor, the alarm about resolver will appear right? What is it possible to do to cancel the motor and allow everything to work.

Is it possible to do it through the parameters in configuration? Basically to allow the robot work without the motor of one external axis.

The controller is IRC5

I have a cell with some external axis, and I need to eliminate one of them to permit the robot work without fault.

In the mediapool I have some configuration files, However One of them I cannot edit.

I tried to open the file in the robot studio, but it just display a message:

In S4 Controller there is a battery responsible to save data in the memory card which use it when turn on again.

I have a cell with IRC5, and I wish to replace the ballscrew of linear axis of the positioner.

The new ballscrew have different step.

How can I adjust the positioning? the distance travelled.

Hi. I am used to doing the card image backup by software Acronis. It works perfectly.

I have a similar random problem which cause alarm 50052 -Joint speed error in any axis of the robot. It took me almost one year to solve. I found a gap in the shield clamp of the resolvers cable, so I tightened it, after that It never happened again. See the video attached.

I have been faced many problems like that, In these cases with S4 the auxiliary resolver cables was worn out, so I replaced the cables.

It is really easy, once you have the same module ( part number ). The maximun you need to do is update rev.counter, just in case it lost.

I my system I just have these three configuration ( com1; service and LAN ) as in the picture

The ABB told me that to connect the laptop in the DSQC 612 board I need options :

841-1 EthernetIP m/s ( PN 3HAC052932-001)

905-1 Ethernet port (PN 3HAC052937-001 )

Somenone have these options?

In case it is not possible to connect Laptop in the DSQC 612, Is there other additional board to connect the laptop?

Is it possible through the profinet board?

Is there one off board ethernet type which I can install in these computer slot to connect ethernet?
