  • Huanyang VFD’s query?

    HI guys and girls.

Just after a bit of advise? So origionally we bought a HY04D023B VFD with mathcing 4Kw Spindle.

not realising this model was a 3PH ac220, our system, in the UK, is 3ph 400vac and kinda killed the VFD (was interesting seeing the inside of capacitors).

so a new VFD was ordered a HY04D043B rated to out 3PH 400vac and suitable for the 4KW spindle, my question is, the spindle is rated to 220V, am i able to step down the output power in the new VFD to acomodate the spindle or will i have to get a new spindle to match the 400VAC VFD? i cannont find any information anywere about being able to do this but the unit we bought said it had a variable output.

hope that all makes sense, and sorry if it’s in the wrong section.

    regards
    chris

just sourced the components thank for the help but just looking at the resitors, what power rating am i looking at there are several and not too sure or am i going too indepth? done some maths to work out what i should be but i cant see mto find the voltages required. or is that not necisarry. just go for a 600mW as thats the biggest i can get?

sorry for such a medial question.

    regards

thanks very much for you replies back guys! :beerchug: that is exactly what i was after i had seen your comments regarding the clean 24vdc i will have a good study of my diagrams as my desk is scatered with them and im sure i can get my head around it.

I have a seperate power suply coming in from ym controls box i am constructing that will supply the power, ans thanks for informing me about the power requirments of the wago strips i will look into the part numbers and take care with that

    thanks again!

Right I have had a good read through some older threads and have a better understanding of what I am doing. there is allot of information that is over my head regarding the coding etc. but I'm just interested of connecting wires I have a professional coming to finish it all off and get us up and running.

so you are aware the story so far for my situation is.. we have taught a refurbished kaka kr210 with a KRc2 05 edition. then we have been supplied a massive collection of wiring diagrams for your safety circuits/unit and spindles etc I/we have to assemble create everything then we will have proper instruction/training in house. So I have no experience of anything above a 3-axis inc router and I am learn gin as I go...

but during me being thrown in the deep end I have come across a WAGO I/O listed on the diagrams (photo's to follow) found the WAGO in the KRc2 but it isn't connected to anything.. but have pi allocation numbers and I have figured out the various slices of the WAGO digital analogue input output etc... and I have also from reading on here it should be plugged into the x801 slot on the MFC (card on door computer sorry if thats the wrong name) this cable is missing and so should I have it at all.

ill supply some pictures as you can guess from my waffling I'm a complete newbie. I will be emailing the company we got the electrical schematics from for help but you guys are so knowledgable I hope some pointers can be given here to a newbie.

    regards
    chris

    HI guys and Gals

Just wanting a bit of help and clarification. I am new to this industry so please bear with me!

i'm in the process of setting up our Kuka robot, wiring in the saftey circuits etc, but while trawling thought the wiring diagrams etc i have come to a bit of a standstill..

there was a WAGO 750-306 supplied with the unit and my wiring diagrams show vairuis inputs and outputs goin in etc.... but this unit is not attached to anything within the KRC2. from my reading up am i corect to think the WAGO is to be connected to the C13 extended board i have through designation X7? if so i have no cable there.

I hope that all makes sence as im learning as i go with this. :icon_redface:

    regards
    chris.
