Vision System
I am currently looking for an affordable vision system for parts inspections.
We are going to use the system for in-house testing only and would like to see what kind of reasonable priced vision systems are out there.
Thank you

Hello,
I am in the stage in which I would like to setup a very basic program.
The program would only consist of moving the robot between a few positions.
Please let me know if there is a step by step on how to program this.
thanks
Anyone have this type manual?
R2 controller
I am currently looking for a programming manual for the Fanuc 420i.
Please let me know if you are able to help me out on this.
Thanks
Tony,
Are these steps on a page that you can send me the link to ?
sorry I am completely new to this
I replaced all batteries and also cleaned out the battery box about a day or so before I posted the original message.
now that is done, whats the next step?
Hello,
I recently purchased a 1997 Fanuc 420i robot and R2 controller.
Now that I have the robot powered up I am getting a fault/error of the following code:
SRVO-062 BZAL alarm
Here is the information I found on this code:
Fanuc Robot Alarm SRVO-062 BZAL alarm(Group:%d Axis:%d)
Cause: This alarm is issued when the battery for backing up the absolute position data of the pulse coder is not connected or is empty. The battery cable inside the robot might have become disconnected.
Remedy: Correct the cause of the alarm, then turn on the power again after doing PULSE RESET operation. Mastering is required. There are the following two methods for PULSE RESET.
Method 1: Move the cursor to $MCR.$SPC_RESET on the system variable screen, and select F4 TRUE. It becomes TRUE momentarily, it writes in FALSE at once. Then push the reset button.
Method 2: F3 RES_PCA is pushed on the MASTER/CAL screen, and select F4 YES. Then press the alarm release button. Note) The MASTER/CAL screen is not usually displayed.
Checked batteries, wiring etc…. not yet fixed.
Has anyone ever had this issue?
