resistance on each wire was around .5-.2

All fuses were checked and are good

I am somewhat concerned cutting the cable while powered up could have shorted out and caused other issues.

So we had someone mix up cable while working on a 410 and cut the pulse coder cable and the motor power cable to G;2 A;1:fearful_face::pouting_face::pouting_face: that runs a clamp tool on the EOAT. it was attempted to use butt-connectors and solder to repair the cable. it will ring out with a multimeter using resistance but will still not see the encoder. it give the SRVO_068 DETR alarm. we have cables coming but production does not want to wait. has anyone successfully repaired a cable like this?

yes it was running up until about 10 hours ago or so, and yes powered on or off the robot holds position as well with the deadman switch pressed. I went over the cables once but will surely double check them again.

It does not collide with anything it is in midair when the fault happens and again it does not matter what axis I move (even in joint) the fault happens on A3. Also the voltages check good, there is another 410 feed from the same control panel that is operating normally. I have run the robot via the TP and listened for any abnormal sounds and have not hear anything, and there has not been a PM or greasing done recently.

I have gone over previous posts about this alarm but hoping or a little bit more detail as my issue seems odd. ??? I get a SRVO-050 error on G1 A3 no matter what axis I move, manually or via the program. I would have replaced the motor to eliminate it but we do not have one on site and are currently looking for one. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all!

I am trying to change the system variable $MRP_GRP[1].$UPPERLIMSDF, but it is saying "Variable/field write-protected". Is there a way to changes this? I am hoping there is another variable to set to allow this but I can not find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. :wallbash: :help:

yes the teachpendant shows the correct UL running. I guess I will delete the copied UL and rebuild it from scratch and see how it goes. Thank you!!

Does anyone know if there is a system variable that limits the number of unit loads you can have stored or are able to run in a palletizing application? I have copied and pasted a current working UL and when I try to run the pasted version with minor box dimension changes it almost acts like everything is default i.e. positions of boxes ect. I have checked it against the original and it kept all that data but again is placing incorrectly as well as picking up the incorrect number of boxes and releasing the incorrect number of boxes. which led me to think there may be a max number of usable unit loads that I may be exceeding.

I know with our quattro's you we have to use a fixture that we mount to the robot along with the correct software to calibrate them. Do you have either of these? If you don't you may have to contact adept or who ever sold you the robot and see what they can do for you.

:yesyesyes:The ethernet thing worked!!! that is crazy. what i found was the robots (only 2 of the three) don't like it when my HMI for the cell is plugged into the nerwork. I will work this out later they are able to run. Thank you all for you assistance!! :bravo:

yes I know and that is not the file set they gave me. At this time I am trying to take the file set they gave me, restore it in RoboGuide and then convert to a file to use to restore my physical robot.

It is an R30iB and all the fuses on the E-stop board are good. My OEM sent me what they called a "back up of the controller" but the file structure did not look correct to me and when I tried to use it, it told me "This operation causes fatal damage to this controller".

I have an M20-iA from an OEM that gets to loading os.... and then the screen goes blank. It will not do a controlled start either. The real problem is I do not have a complete image backup. I do have a vendor supplied file backup. Has anyone done or used the emergency backup function? If so how does it work and did you get favorable results?
