No luck, checked continuity with multi on all and no blown fuse.
am lost.

My understanding is that unless:
1) you log as expert and paste the files from usb to program directory
2) Log back as user and the mill program will be compiled and available. -
I will check again, did no see... but a double/triple check will tell. Thanks.

KUKA KR210, with KRC2 KSS 5.6.10, WinXPe
Could this happen after a bad shut down ? Probably files are badly corrupted if I did issue Shut Down Cold Boot and accidentally flipped switch off ahead. How do I recover ?
After Shut down robot was sitting, 3 days later this message is what I get on image when I power up.
Cannot master because robot doesn't move (see image). I do not have spare hardware to test, i.e.: cables or DRW (DRC) card, etc.
This happened after everything was working fine, no issues whatsoever with hardware, no bumps or cable accidents. All major cables are in great shape, fuses all OK. DRW (DRC) card shows LED green and red correct. Cabinet is very clean inside, everything running and LED are all correct.
Run the DSE-DRW app and everything looks fine, except sometimes RDC Communication show all Axis fine, other times all show 0000, or 1 or 2 axis 0000.
I cannot recover from this... Right now my only hope is reinstalling KSS (which is faster than other options), tried restoring archive.zip but did not work. Batteries are fully charged and 3 months old or less (12V but 5 Amps instead of 5.4A).
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It is perhaps true that some combos worked better, I cannot know because I have one only and my first... but since these machines have serviced so many different tasks I can see that evolution in soft alone makes some dual oses work better with certain hardware.
I had to wait patiently for confirmation from KUKA of the match of my hardware to original configuration, that was done.
The question on serial for spare parts is normal in industries across the board as far as I can remember.
Good thing is that they keep track to the detail and I appreciate that enormously... imagine the opposite...
Regards.

Greatly appreciated your help.
I am in search for accuracy, because the milling paths were no good on large scale movements and XYZ 4 point will not calibrate tool at all.
Mastering was meticulously done several times following Manuals to the letter.Another user told me that he heard from KUKA that they have a list of best combo of XP and KSS for any robot set up and I would like to know ASAP.
KUKA is very very slow to respond... if at all.Currently loaded with winXPe v2.2.1_04 and KSS v5.6.10
UPDATE:
Problem solved with correct mastering procedure. -
Panic Mode you are A Master !!! worked perfect !!!
Thanks a trillion !!!

I have to update the MADA on my robot and I need the correct procedure for it. Do not want to mess the installation.
I can do a full milling but I get the dimensions of the machined part Off by a good margin (+5% or more) and also when machining the position of the spindle is not perpendicular to the worktable as it should be (by ~4deg).
If I try to move along an axis, ex: Y axis, the monitoring shows only the number of that axis changing but the path is not linear, an arch going down. So, things are OFF.
If I try 4 point tool calibration the error is huge 50 mm.. or more. The TCP (based on manual measurements) rotates ABC on a point/axis way off its tip point.According to previous posts that I read: 1) the Mastering is OFF (although unlike since I did this procedure to the letter three times) or 2) The MADA is not correct for the Robot (I am inclined to think this is the case since I upgraded the System recently and the HD and do not believe I choosed the right model ie MADA).
My robot sticker description is:
Model: KR2210L150 S C2 FLR ZH210 with KRC2 with KRC v5.6.10 and winxp (latest).
\MADA: KRC2\KR2210_SSCBS\L150\Floor\R1
Navigator screen shows: Machine Data #KR2210L150_2 S C2 FLR ZH210I have the MADA files $machine.dat and $robcor.dat from the CD that match the robot sticker MADA, to replace in the corresponding R1 directory. BUT I need the correct procedure... so, I do not want mess up the install by just doing a copy and paste. (already happened to me before on another issue).
Would greatly appreciate your kind help.
Thanks. -
My robot has no problem with Manually created Programs: runs T and AUT, but offline created programs from known soft does not work.
I tested different programs and with help from a friend lend me a little working program also (.src and .dat files).Set up: this is a standalone setup no external axis.
KR2 210 L150 with KRC2, wXPe , KRC V5.6.10Everything works and a Manually created Program runs in T and AUT modes, but offline created programs (with a well known soft from experienced programmer) does not want to run. Check pics below.
Here are the screen shoots that Shows the typical tested code.

And the typical error message after pulsing Run, either in T mode:
Pic 2
…or in AUT mode.
Pic 3There is some configuration that I am missing... or have it wrong.
Really appreciate some help. -
Thank you all, Fubini's advice setting AUT/EXT was the solution. I run successfully a manual program in T and AUT just fine.
MILLION THANKS !!!
Now I have another little problem that I am posting with offline programs...
-
Yes I do that.

Please forgive my stupidity: I have been reading those manuals for quite some time to learn as much as possible and cannot find a single reference on what steps are needed to apply the Remedy as suggested on page 79 "Switch Operator Control Unit (KCP) to ACTIVE Status" ... not anywhere in the manuals neither to de-activate KCP for that matter. The KCP works fine on T mode can run a program holding Run key.
This pic below is from the Errors listings on 1367 error... not a clue there either just cryptic language from the creators of software.
I should be used to it now after 43 years of engineering.I search all the manuals and cannot find a single reference to "ACTIVE Status"...
Thanks.

1) When I try to run in KRC2 with KSS 5.6.2 (fresh install) in Auto a mill program created on offline software, I get this error "1367 KCP ACTIVE Status required".
2) I do not have any external axis or other tools, should DeviceNet and MFC be ON ?Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I will greatly appreciate advice or help on this tasks.
The install is for win95 and KS v5.74 on VKRC2. All the hardware a was working fine until I accidentally changed the TCP/IP and the VxWin drivers and soft network dissapeared from win95 and cannot get it back... rendering the robot non operative.
I contacted KUKA and still waiting proper response as I need the CD's to install ASAP.
Thanks.

This diagram will help for stand alone operation with X11, it will NOT run without the connected items as it in 'something unsafe' mode. The X11 Hurting plug has all the pins labelled accordingly for proper connection to the safety switches.
Do a search and get the Manuals pdf (do not ask here for those) to know the meaning of the words...
Last but first: by all means ONLY operate the robot with all safety features. Specially in your school environment where people will try to get close to the arm all the time... A NO-NO ever, trust me.

1) I change Language but is not doing it, I tried all English options, restarts Win to the same german... frustrating.
2) The blank is when I select Netwerk.
3) If I select Protokol I do not see TCP/IP the next window as an option..I will post a Pic soon.

Here are the pics of the problem now:

There has been something going wrong. Reverse Your changes and it will be fixed.
Think You have changed the virtual adapter to the VxWorks subsystem instead of the real hardware network card.
-----------
I tried, I reversed the iosys.ini comment on Interbus.
Unfortunately do not know the previous IP, did not write it down ( )Well, it could in a mysterious way that IP was VxWorks? I never touched VxWorks network... I knew it is sacred.
Is there any way to ping VxWorks ? or any other way to get the correct IP? or I have to reinstall EVERYthing ?
-
Also: When booting controller and goes to win95 I get this Cross3 message, unfortunately cannot change the language in win95 since apparently no english is in the system.
So German speakers please help !! Danke fur Hilfe

Controller KRC2 2004:
KS v5.74 rel 2006 and VKR C 3.3.4 GUI v3.3.80I have an apparently simple issue:
To get into win95, I got into Expert mode via Schlüssel CD 2.0 (provided to me from germany) to access Win95:
1) to have an external monitor..(done and works)
2) comment out interbus in iosys.ini to clear the error at start up
3) set TCP/IP to communicate via Ethernet to external PC (VxWorks IP was untouched per recommendation here)Turn OFF controller and back ON.
Now I cannot get out of Win95 at boot it always comes back to win95 screen instead of KRC Navigator. Therefore cannot have any control.
Thank you in advance.
