Can you see the digital inputs screen? And look if some bits change the state?
The last time I did it, I had to create a group of this signals (32 bits used in config.dat) in work visual and define as DINT, the same in beckhoff. It Enable you receive negative numbers.

Some days ago I tried to change directly in machine.dat, but it didn't work, I believe it sets more than one variable whet you change in workvisual.

The "keys" mentioned above, I want to sayt keypad. but as you run the diagnose I presume it is working.
The KCP, is basically connected to KVGA video board (PCI) in your case there is no problem,
and CI2 (safety board) you can check the connections. From KCP to X19 and from X19 to CI2.
Look to page 135.

Hi, I lost some files/folders from my KUKA RECOVERY STICK 3.0.3 build 0015 (00250424).
I tried so hard to download the .cab update files from KUKA download center and xpert, but it seens not available anymore.
Does some one have this file to share?

I have a kuka stick 2.0 too, is possible to downgrade the 3.0 stick?

Thank you SkyeFire, I will have to send thermal and torque data to a PLC in some words. I Tested in KRC2 OfficeLite and the variable $MOT_TEMP[x] seens work.

I recomend you reinstall the KSS. If the windows is good you may have no problem.
The KSS installer is placed in D:\KRC1
You have to have external keyboard USB or PS2.
1- You have to reboot the robot.
2- Press and hold ctrl as soon as the windows image show in kcp screen, until windows is full started. (This don't let KSS START).
3- Guarantee that KSS, KUKA Cross and Ikraus didn't tryied to load.
4- Go to D:\KRC1 and run setup.exe.
5- Look in your arm label, the directory to install the same manipulator files.
6- I don't like to keep R1, MADA, INIT files on nem installation, I disselect this options.
After finished KSS installation don't forget to install your optional softwares to be able to restore you programs backup.
You can find this procedure in you KSS manual.

I am reading KRC2 System Variable, trying to find some Motor Temperature variable. I didn't find it.
Some of you have already tried to use the same variable of KRC4, $MOT_TEMP[x] to read motor temperature in KRC2?

I am installing a KUKA EIP board, I have alredy configured the board using KUKA EtherNet/IP Console, but I have an Error: KSS 8096 EIP: Device 1 not ready, STATUS 33.
I check the manual and tryed to do all solutions but it not works.
I am able to ping the board but is not possible to change data.

Great! mbalazs, do you have the electrical wiring diagram from KRC1? It looks like an eplan project. I found KRC2 Scheme, but KRC1 is too hard to find.

Hi everybody. I faced a different situation today. We usually change broken Servo motor connectors, but the mentioned robot have different connectors at A5 and A6 axes (smaller, and different inserts).
My question: Does some of you knows where can I buy this kind of connector? Who makes this?
Our suppliers didn't find it in any where. We use hummel connectors, but they don't have this.
KUKA just sell full Servo Motor.

Does some one know if is possible a make a jumper on theresistence sensor to check if the problem is on PM6-600?
Or the sensor has a Hearting beat like a fan?

The mais difference between VKR and KR is that Volkswagen controller don't have $AUT and $T2 switchs on KCP.
I Believe you have just to exchange the KCP and install a standard KSS. I recomend you make a copy of HDD before install the new software.
