Hello,
I have recently started to set up an Sk6 with MRC controls. This machine is a welder with the MotoArc 350. I am not sure what year the machine is but I do know that it is either late 90's or early 2000's. I set the machine up to test it by just plugging in the necessary cables between the MRC and the robot. There is only one safety mat connected and there are no light curtains at the moment. I did not hook any of it up because I am not sure if the machine works. Once power was connected the MRC fired up with no issue other than a couple alarms. One was because the robot was sitting on a limit switch and the other was a bad back-up battery. Both have been fixed, but the machine still will not allow me to start the servos. The lights for "MODE" and "CYCLE" are lit up in a pattern with "PLAY", "REMOTE", and "1 CYCLE" on, and the other 3 are off.
Is there something wrong with this machine or do I need to finish hooking up the rest of the safety equipment before I can test it? If it is just the safety equipment, is there a way to bypass this temporarily so that I can see if the machine works before potentially wasting an entire day wiring up and aligning the light curtains??
