are you sure?
so what's the difference between a PCI card and which is made especially for kuka ?
and thanks for your time ,you helped me a lot
Yes i'm sure.
You have all the info you need by now. -
i searched for it ,i found this board 00-116-626 it's especially made for kuka krc2 but it's expensive so should i get it or can i get any PCI board ?
You can use any PCI card, as long as it runs under winXP.
-
dont know your location, but try Amazon.
Or any electronics or PC store. -
Any PCI network card will do, PCI not!! PCI expres.
Just make sure it works under winXP.
Most of the pci cards come with a cd-rom with the drivers for win XP.
It will appear as a extra network connection in windows on the KRC.
Set the IP on this connection to what you need, and your good to go.
If you are using RoboDK with kukavarproxy, open port 7000 in the firewall. -
Sorry not being clear about the KRC version.
Both ED05 and also the normal(old) version can be buggy.
We have/had both versions runningOn the ED05 is was worse than on the older KRC2,.
Just a standard PCI networkcard wil do. Not pci express.
Most of these cards support WinXP. -
Kukavarproxy works fine with secondary networkcard.
Get a PCI networkcard, NOT a PCI express.
Works with KRC2 and KRC2-ED05.
Onboard network port on ED05 (Fujitsu board) can be buggy sometimes with Kukavarproxy. As said in my reply in your previous thread.
Using RoboDK to control your robot it's best to have a sepparate networkcard.
Your connection wil be by Kukavarproxy or C3bridge.
Doing this on the network port on the MFC wil be buggy. -

Looks like you have a BMW cabinet.
ThreadSafety wiring of cabinet KRC2 ed05 from BMW L6 AK9
Here it is, a new robot for me!
I bought a KR210-2 2000 from 2008
with cabinet KRC2 edition2005, from BMW
( KRC2-05 SR AK9 BMW L6 PNET PROXY 7035 )
it has PROFIsafe modules inside
and on the bottom X11 X12 X21.2 ports, X13 is not present, and a small X21.1
Does anyone knows how to bridge the safety circuits to make the robot move?
Attached here it is the schematics, but i can't understand much by myself,
i have never seen something like this and around the forum i'm not able to find someone that…crkFebruary 28, 2020 at 10:14 PM -
Yup, i was thinking the same after i wrote the last message
Thanks! -
Ok thanks.
So just loading the KR30 mada will not work?
KPS600 died in the KR30 controller, will swap the drives to the KR30 specs. -
Hi All,
Is it possible to use a KRC2 controller for a KR210 on a KR30?
Loading the correct mada offcourse.
KRC2 running KSS 5.6.8
Thanks in advance. -
If you stand in front of the cabinet, its the pcb on the right side.
-
You can test if its the estop on the front by taking it out and bridge it FOR TESTING ONLY.
Replace it anyway, becouse its a safety item.
Check the connections on the ESC board if they are correct. -
Yes.
But... an ED05 pendant will work on a non ED05 controller, not the other way arround.
You can jog in T1, but no automatic opearation. -
Thats what i said, on older versions (pre ED05)
-
@ Skyfire
Yes sorry i should have mentioned making a backup/image first.
We never had that problem with the drivers.
Robots are running on 5.6.9
Network cards we used are realtek chipdset, not Intel. -
It's better to put in a seperate network card (PCI).
We had some issues on Ed05 with the onboard network port using varproxy.
On older versions it's on the MFC, isa slot.... -

You could use RoboDK for this.
