run the file motosim eg-vrc delete
It will kill all the instances related to the motosim

did you try the nwait?
As 95devils said it might be ran as call job that would not advance, but on the other hand it is just logic.

you can set that a switch or button on IF panel activate an input or change a byte so you can use it for choosing a program.

why don't you use incremental move?

well I've been searching in this document about the signals needed to run. But couldn't find much. Just that it can be ethercat, io link... but I was unable to find info about how many io signals you need.
Which communication are you going to use?

do you have documentation from Mechatronics spindle?

So more details. My coworked had sent a cmos backup already. Our robot controller is a dx200 where the integrator is trying to dump that backup into a dx100. Sounds like thats the issue?
That definitely is not integrator. Just so called "programmer".
if it was integrator he/she would, in case it is necessary, initialize the robot, not dumping the cmos.bin from one robot to the other. Even worse, from one to other generation of controller.

cmos.bin backup can be saved in the maintenance mode.
Normally the cmos.bin is used to use the correct robot with all the settings and variables in motosim. Or to have a "complete backup" of the robot

taking some training and reading manuals might help.

And there we get to the table that Reintz posted, where you can see that just solid works 2003 to 2019 can be used, he was absolutely right.
Just now I've seen that you wrote that have used solid works 2022. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

It is always good to check the manual.
"Detecting edge for welding" means you're talking about CAM function, and SolidWork files don't support it.
From this table I understand that cant use for cam, from hsf downward.
I've used solidworks models for cam.
-
when you import the models you need to select that it is for CAM. Otherwise you won't be able to use CAM function.

Motosim has great Manual. All explained with images.

You may also want to put together a list of what you want to learn. 4 hours isn’t long to teach very many topics at a pace conducive to grasp and master the concepts with exercises.
You are right 95devils, im learning those things for over 6 years and still just scratched the surface.

it would be easier if you say where are you from. Because, for sure, you need someone near.
