I have a project that I need up and going by monday but have found I need 4 additional inputs, I have plenty of output available so I was unsure if I could change the confuguration around and use those at inputs instead of outputs. I know I could get an I/O expansion card but I'm sorta screwed trying to get on in and operational by Monday morning. I'm using the standard 50pin honda plug for IO as well as UOP for starting programs. I would like to change SDO 120 (pin 21) to SDI 124 and SDO 117 - SDO 119 (pins 26-29) to SDI 121-123. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have purchased 4 used / rebuilt LRMate 200iB rj3ib robots. The problem is when they go into an alarm state for any reason the robots drop down on axis 4 & 5. Unfortunately this is a bad situation as we are loading and unloading shop floor CMM's with these. Does anyone know if these come with brakes standard on all 6 axis? If so how can I go about enabling these? We have 4 new LRMate 200iC robots with Rj30ib controls and we do not have this problem with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

You will have to use a reduntant circuit, both have to open or close at the same time.

I now have multiple robots set up all using the same programs, they are all LRMate 200iC robots with R30iA controllers. I have just received 4 refurbished LRMate 200iC robots with the older RJ3iB controllers. Can I use the backup files from the R30iA controller to put into the RJ3iB controller (including TP programs)? It would make things so much easier but I'm worried its not going to be that easy.
Thanks,

We have been setting up multiple robots to load and unload gaging cells. We purchased some rebuilt robots to add to our collection, these are LRMate 200iB robots with RJ3iB controller. Can you use UOP on these controllers? We have some setup this way but they are the R30iA controllers and didnt thing about checking to see if we can set these RJ3iB controllers up the same way? I'm due to receive these robots the end of this week and do not have EDoc's for them yet.

So do I need to do something different other than backup all files then load all files on the others?
Thanks

I'm in the process of setting up multiple cells with 1 LRMate per cell and all are identical. Can I just "backup" the first robot and "restore" to other robots? All robots are identical and will be using all the same programs (other than touching up points). I read somewhere that each robot has specific parameters or settings and I cannot just backup from one and restore to the other. Does anyone know if this is true?
Thanks,

We need some additional information, is there a plc or other device that is acting as the operator input for this robot?

I'm in the process of setting up 6 LRMate robots to load parts into and out of a post process gage (all 6 will be exact same programs and IO. We have the first one complete and everything is working well (after about 4 weeks). The question I have is, what is the easiest way to transfer all programs and parameters to the other 5 robots. I'm hoping this will just be as simple at backing one up and restoring it to the others. But I've also heard that certain parameters or settings cannot be transferred to another robot and are specific to each robot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have EDocs that came with the robots, just looking for some info as to the easiest way to do this. (as you all know Fanuc doesnt always tell you the easiest way).
Thanks!!!
