Dear All,
Few days ago, I faced some issues related to program.

Scenario:
I have kuka systems with KHS palletizing machine. Some axis movement and adjustments are also done with KHS HMI.
I added pos_rk.dat/src files from other machine with same software and versions.

Problem:
While adjustment of A3 axis, its final position, from KHS HMI i faced problem. after adjusting final position, when I moved axis manually, machine got stuck. its control voltages off and machine program was erased. I tried to restore backup archive but it didn't worked. then I restored its backup image of HDD and then archive restoring done. machine started working. then i did A3 adjustment from KHS HMI. it was working.
After two days when I tried some minor adjustments again, Same problem faced two times but this time, no needed to restore image, only restoring archive worked. I am unable to understand root cause of this issue.

Sir,
I need to know this via encoder values.
when we move axis its encoder values changes relatively.
at mastering position robots have some encoder values.
I need to know these values and menu at which we can view this change in value.

A few days ago, I had mailed to kuka. they said that it is not possible.
but i had seen one of my seniors, he did by this way but it was on simple linear(PTP) motion.

I need to know this for angular motion axis of robots....
Please guide me, so that, i would be able to do this in case of emergency

I will not make it regular practice. i will use it just in emergency cases.
• Menu->SETUP->measure
• Menu->Monitor-> Robot Positions.
Robot positions may work for this??

If I don't have dial gauge or clock indicator to master a robot, or it damage during work.
can I master robot with encoder values or some other way??

I need some diagnostic documents for kuka palletizing robots.
KRC2 and KRC4.

how to diagnose in multiprog and workvisual.
some guidelines how to work with these two softwares for I/O diagnostics on communication bus.

I am facing a problem,
when we press deadman switch for mastering, machines KPS generates alarm.
please see the attach pictures.
Robot not in automatic external alarm is not being reset.
KCP, KPS are also replaced.
in other picture, RC1 and func(near kcp) are blinking. and alarms are showing also in that picture.

I am new user of KRC4.
I need to understand following systems.

-KLI (KUKA Line Interafce). it includes connection of PLC, field bus anbd Network connection via TCP/IP.
-KEB (KUKA Extension Bus). it includes connection of Ethercat IOs, gateway for Profibus and gateway for devicenet
-KSB (KUKA System Bus). it includes connection of smartPAD, Robo team and SIB.
- KCB (KUKA Controller Bus). it Includes connection of RDC, KPP, KSP and EMD.

Kuka mentioned first two as customer network and other 2 as kuka network.

one thing important, this kuka system is installed with KHS palletizer.
please guide me for these communication systems.

Dear Skyfire,
in earlier message, you said about certain time of day.
I remember some issue, it was not with KUKA, it was with SIDEL computer.
Issue is that machine's computer gets hanged exactly AT 12:00AM and some times it reboots again and again many times.
what should be the possible reason for that???

we did this and problem resolved.
but my point is that what can be the cause of this issue.

Let me explain some machine scenarios,
this KRC2 system is working on KHS palletizer machine.
this machine has 2 communication protocols Profibus and ASI bus systems.
before this problem there was another issue related to ASI bus that some ASI master was generating alarms of some ASI nodes.
ASI power supply was found faulty(generating less volts than required), which was replaced. after that this RDC issue appeared.

while I am not seeing any link of ASI with KUKA, it is for KHS machine.
