We are replacing some AW controllers to FD controller, there is some software that do that conversion?, I already try to used the option in the AW controller but is not working when I try to load to the FD controller.. I have tha ASCII file from the AW controller but it no let me load in to the FD.

Any Ideas?

The robots are a V 8.30 when I try to created on roboguide I get that screen, and just for test I change the backdate.dt file to an older version and it work fine.. but the originals backups are V8.30

I just Install version 8.30 for roboguide but would not create a cell from a robot backup, if I change the robot backup to 8.20 or 8.10 in the Backdate.DT file would create the cell without issues is only with the 8.30 Version, I try two different robots and the roboguide stops at the same point. I attach a screenshot for the screen i got in roboguide, does not show up any kind of errors, just got to that point and stays there forever. I tried with Version 8.30 (REV.A) & (REV.D) and same thing.

Any Ideas ??

If you load the SYSFRAME.SV file from an old backup, you are going to get your frames back.

Yes I am 100% sure i had donde that a couple time, only affects the DCS code.

From a Backup that you know the code is 1111 load the SYSPASS.SV file, then try it using 1111 again should de it.

Hello All

Somebody have done or know how to import/save the cycle time chart from the TP screen to open in a computer ? I had tried to do a PrintScreen but it saves .LS file and no chart appears on my PC. I used the Save Function too with the cycle time chart on screen but it saved like a .txt file. I want to get a image of the screen or if i can open in excel would be awesome.

Open your (ERRHIST.LS) from your MD backup, it will show up your F number on the Top.

In your Cartesian Position box check you created, on one of the target model items you need to put the user model number for the EOAT you created.

You can use this built in from a Karel Program, would change the comments for the registers you need.

SET_REG_CMT(150,comment,STATUS)
SET_REG_CMT(151,comment,STATUS)

I got a project where one robot needs to send an offset to another robot, the robot needs to send the offset in a PR, which is the best protocol to do this kind of application ? I am tempted to use socket messaging but if somebody have a better idea i am all ears..

Yes i try in 3 diferent controllers and no one work. So i Guess is the controller or i making something wrong. I have to set the device to CF1 OF CF2???

I have 2 days trying to perform a backup to an old XRC controller, i am trying to use a PC Card I had tried with 6 diferrent PC cards, i got to same error in eveyone when I hit save.

I am new with Motoman robots, the company i just started working have a Motoman XRC UP6 they want to setup for trainning playing a while and reading a little bit the manuals the plant give me I could not make it work in the teach pendant screen it shows the followed alarm

If a swap my key to edit, the teach button enable and hold the dead man, the servo ON light start blink but the Turn ON servo power still at the bottom of the screen.

Can anyone give an idea how to fix this alarm.

I have a couple of MigWelding robots ARCMate 120Ic 10L, everytime PLC toggle the drycicle bit ON the robot simulated all the weld IO to the weld controller, when its off robot UNSIM all the I/O.

So when trying to run Drycicle, the robot get the Input on and simulated weld I/O doing this the cell is not able to get AUTO due to the SIMULATED I/O is a condition to not have any SIM I/O to run in AUTO so i have to go to the TP and UNSIM doing the FCTN>UnsimAll.

Anyone have an idea why is doing that??

With the math option you can use trigonometric functions to calculate the (x,y) value of the point in the circumference you want to moved based on the angle the PLC is sending you, then use a circular move to get to that point.

You might need to have Math Option loaded in the robot to do that...
